While personally i think drugs should be decriminalized, this article is super disingenuous.

At least in LA, there is a drug diversion court where users, and actually usually even sellers, are sent to and offered rehab in exchange for the charges being entirely dropped after a year.

And even after that, LA county judges send drug offenders back to court ordered programs multiple times instead of jail.

Websites such as the ones this article was pulled from have an agenda and purposely omit information that undermines that agenda.
