BINGO - they didn't like the wages they were being paid, so now that have LOTS of time to find employment at places that pay more. And what do THEY do? Whine. My feeling is that if I owned a place and all the people who went on strike wouldn't have a job to come back to. If they joined or formed a union - I'd shut the business down the next day. If you don't like what I'm paying (and it was discussed before you were hired) let's see how you like NO MONEY for a while.

If their wages with tips still don't come up to the minimum wage, then legally they've got a legitimate case.
