Physicists believe our universe could just be a projection of another cosmos

Holographic principle claims gravity comes from thin, vibrating string

These strings are holograms of events that take place in a flatter cosmos

According to this theory, everything we experience can be described as events that take place in this flatter location

This is the first time the validity of the model has been mathematically tested

this means there is no free will and all criminals can't be faulted because their actions were merely someone else's actions

Al Quran Surat Al-Qamar, 49 :

"Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Pre ordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz)."

As per the Muslim belief, Lauh Al-Mahfuz is created by God which contains all that has happened and will happen (2D data?) in the universe (Universe being a projection of this 2D data?)

i hadn't heard of these quotes before but i wouldn't be surprised if many modern ideas in theoretical physics came from them.

If we were hologram, then when you put someone's light out, when you moved your hand out of the way of the projection, they would reappear. Like a terd that just wont flush.

Is this nonsense brought to you by the same assholes who gave us the Global Warming fables, volume one and two, and the follow up book, "Well it's not Global Warming, it's climate change".

Can you take seriously anything from a book that tells you there are 72 virgins in space?

Holographic realtors assure us that, even in a flat two dimensional universe, housing prices can only go up. After all, they aren't making any more land, and now an entire dimension that most of us took for granted may be merely a projection. Get your flat location while they're still available! Don't worry about sinkholes, wormholes, or price drops, none of those things can happen in a flat universe.

Yes. Same applies to having sex with a holographic Dabo girl.

Cleaning up the holodeck is the worst job in the 24th century.

Folks, you're all wrong.

The holodeck is a technical variant on the replicator via transporter technologies. Once your *spunk* leaves the confines of your body, it will be de-materialized and integrated into the photonic projections of your characters.

Thus, whomever you're with, [ i.e. young Rachel Welch or Marilyn Monroe ], will shallow :-)

how do you know for sure? how can you tell if you are in the Matrix?

.

your hand would be another projection so it couldn't be used to block another projection.

Ancient religions have been saying this from the beginning of time! This is where physics meets metaphysics. The 2d is us without our bodies, aka "the spiritual realm". Heaven and Hell are modified (and manipulated) christian versions of the 2d.

The metaphysical concept is that we are all creating our own reality. We've all agreed on the 2d level that the chair over there is solid and our bodies can sit on it, and, voila', it is so.

Have you read the book? Or are you getting your facts from anti-Islamic internet blogs?

I found a course in projective geometry that I took a long time ago to be pretty interesting and also fairly difficult.

Not that it is the point of projective geometry, but something that becomes clear when getting deeply in to non-euclidean geometrys is that 3 dimensional space as we know it has a lot of very special properties.

That was a typo. I'd meant that your young starlet would "swallow"

Well of course you meant "swallow', not "shallow". Still that doesn't change the fact for me it's "deep".

Unlike all those ST characters, my holodeck program wouldn't bother with Deanna and other shipmates. It would instead, be stocked with all of the world's supermodels, doing anything that I ask of them.
