Many college students are not only facing exploding debt, but also hunger as well. About 120 food pantries are operated on college and university campuses in the US, with dozens more being setup to feed students who increasingly can't afford to feed themselves. With tuition, books and other expenses more costly than ever, food is sometimes a luxury. RT's Anastasia Churkina gets a firsthand look at Nassau Community College in Long Island, NY.

I was starving when I went. This is not news.

Hasn't the "exploding debt" story been debunked?

I thought some research showed that student debt levels have not increased much over the past couple of decades - it's the media focus on the most outrageous anecdotal cases which has drawn attention to student debt.

The only new aspect is the lack of jobs to pay down student debt.

Isn't that what the grilled cheese diet was invented for?

Was potatoes for me. 10lbs for a buck. Cabbage too. 8 cents a pound.

Between when my grants came in, I ate a LOT of pancakes. A 5 or 10lb sack of Krustez pancake mix can make a LOT of pancakes. However, after eating pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner for about 10 days in a row; and doing this about every 4 months or so. To this day, I really don't like pancakes anymore ... go figure.

If you're a chick, buy a gun, get a pool cleaner job and shake your tits at a wayward husband, and when he tries to seduce you whip out the roscoe and tell him to fill your backpack with steaks or you'll accuse him of rape.

I actually had to look this up:

RT and Al Jazeera are even less credible links/info than MSNBC and FOX News. They exist solely for the purpose of their tyrannical regime owners to use them as puppets to cause mischief in America, thankfully only a very small, misguided audience here pays attention to the BS they spew forth in the name of "news".
