Blame politics, the polling finds •  But no increase in worries about getting the virus Americans are no more worried about getting Ebola now than they were two weeks ago, but they have become somewhat less confident in the federal government's ability to deal with an outbreak of the virus, according to a new poll by Gallup Inc.

Didn't Fox News once find an actual scandal?

The bodies are piling up: 0 fatal domestic infections so far.

Wear masks and stay indoors, conservatives!

Americans don't trust people who don't act, just because they THINK they are smarter than everyone else.

Americans are stupid, but we do love to see a Dog and Pony show, America runs on Dog and Pony shows. If you deny that to them and tell them the reason for it, is because they are stupid, then you'll only get the shitty end of the stick.

Obama would have been super hugely popular right now, had he sent out the Swat with tanks and police officers in full Falujah battle gear, marching marching through the streets like they did for the Boston bombers. They weren't even no where close to where he was, and it was a home owner that found him. But America loved it!

Translation: Don't put on airs, or people get the idea that you think you're better 'n' them.

Better to tell them "I'm no scientist, so I think we shouldn't do nuthin' 'bout carbon dioxide" - because that's all humble and folksy.

But if it's ebola, then the script changes: "I know more than those idiots at CDC, and here, given the polymorphic nature of negative, non-segmented filoviruses, such as ebola, I believe the following diagnostic and quarantinal protocols are best suited to the particular case of this helical RNA virus. From my review of the literature in the National Review and the Fox News Journal of Viral Pathology, here is the best course of action going forward."

Nope: not uppity or arrogant at all.

But, hey, at least the cracker armchair pork-rind pathologists of the Republican Party aren't community organizers!
