Ebola : average number of deaths each day in the US is 0
Guns : 32 murdered, 140+ hospitalized for wounds sustained, daily

Infectious diseases versus stupidity in our culture aren't exactly equivocal comparisons to make, though I strongly agree that gun violence is a much more impactful and pressing problem. Ebola is an exotic with sensational draw. Guns are much more mundane and far more relevant, not to be-little efforts needed to continue to help those infected, and sensibly prevent exposure of the healthy, with Ebola.
