liberal tennents and values are the only hope for wage earners to regain some dignity and some freedom in this country.

@jazz_music I appreciate your hope, but the reality is that Democratic policies have become much worse than those of Republicans, crushing wage earners by forcing them to compete directly with underpaid Chinese and Mexicans.

If you want reasonable wages, you must help stop the export of jobs and the import of illegals, both of which crush wages for the poorest American citizens, especially black people, far more effectively than any Republican policy has yet so far.

The Democrats have betrayed their supporters so massively and flagrantly that they should be disbanded as a party and reconstituted as the Labor Party, with the explicit goal of stopping the export of jobs and import of illegals.

Since when did cheap foreign labor become a “liberal” thing and not a Republican thing?

What do Republicans even do? How do they suddenly escape any blame for our presentation? If liberals run all the corporations, what do Republicans even do? They certainly don’t innovate. They don’t regulate or govern well. Do the Republicans just sit around and whinge and blame liberals for everything? Republicans really sound like worthless failed losers

Which policies are those exactly?

(I bet if you look, you'll find they were actually Republican policies....)

Exactly, Republicans or like he said, Liberals.

Like that Liberal Jordan Peterson the TDSers are always shlobbering. Did you ever see the ten minute meltdown vidoe Jordan Peterson did when someone accused him of being a Conservative Right Winger? You have great patience. This question has been answered many times and at this point repeatedly asking "which policies are these" is unproductive. The American people figured out that the Dems are the party of the new slave labor oligarchs and that's the reason Trump is prez and doing pretty well.

Who hired the illegal immigrant that killed Mollie Tibbetts

In an ironic twist, the dairy farm where Rivera earned his living, co-owned by prominent Iowa Republican Craig Lang, didn’t check his legal status with the federal E-Verify database of I-9 forms and tax records of employees across the country.

An active member of the Republican Party, Lang for many years headed the Iowa Farm Bureau, a farm policy lobbying group that wields tremendous power at the Republican-controlled statehouse. Lang also served two years as president of the Iowa Board of Regents, which oversees the state’s public universities, and in June narrowly lost the Republican primary for state agriculture secretary.

Yarrabee Farms officials on Wednesday walked back an earlier statement that said Rivera was an employee in good standing who passed the federal background check, saying they hadn’t used E-Verify and Rivera had given a false name. The Des Moines Register reported the E-Verify government archive shows no record of a participating farm in Brooklyn, Iowa.

There goes that narrative.

Irrelevant. Trump is fighting illegal immigration, the party affiliation of perpetrators is irrelevant. Just because the Trump admin is finally cleaning this up doesn't mean all Republican voters are angels and follow the law. Everybody hiring illegals should and will be prosecuted/fined hard.

Wrong--it's been deflected many times. I'm looking for a Democrat that is on record saying they are PRO illegal immigration. Since all the Trump cultists here claim ALL Dems feel this way, I assume it would be very easy.

Anyway we need to get our government focused ON US right away. I don't care what the party's name is, BUT

I disagree about Republicans EVER helping people who work.

You may be referring to the high profile rhetoric of Trump but his motis operandi is to tell people exactly what they were hoping to hear so they will show him love. His personality is loaded with horrible traits. He is a big disappointment to voters, but a winner to big business.Mostly his staff has made all the real accomplishments. And those accomplishments benefit wealthy business interests only.

Heritage Foundation is so delighted. They say Trump has passed most of their package even faster than Reagan did. The administration copied and pasted 334 of the think tank’s unique policy proposals. By comparison, the New York Times reports, Reagan adopted just 49 percent of the Heritage agenda.

How do sanctuary city policies accomplish that?

"Sanctuary city (French: ville sanctuaire, Spanish: ciudad santuario) refers to municipal jurisdictions, typically in North America and Western Europe, that limit their cooperation with the national government's effort to enforce immigration law. Leaders of sanctuary cities want to reduce the fear of deportation and possible family break-up among people who are in the country illegally, so that such people will be more willing to report crimes, use health and social services, and enroll their children in school. In the United States, municipal policies include prohibiting police or city employees from questioning people about their immigration status and refusing requests by national immigration authorities to detain people beyond their release date, if they were jailed for breaking local law.[1] Such policies can be set expressly in law (de jure) or observed in practice (de facto), but the designation "sanctuary city" does not have a precise legal definition. The Federation for American Immigration Reform estimated in 2018 that more than 500 U.S. jurisdictions, including states and municipalities, had adopted sanctuary policies.[2]
Studies on the relationship between sanctuary status and crime have found that sanctuary policies either have no effect on crime or that sanctuary cities have lower crime rates and stronger economies than comparable non-sanctuary cities.[3][4][5][6] Opponents of sanctuary cities argue that cities should assist the national government in enforcing immigration law. Supporters of sanctuary cities argue that enforcement of national law is not the duty of localities.[7] Legal opinions vary on whether immigration enforcement by local police is constitutional.[8] "
