Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO who is flirting with a Republican presidential bid in 2016, took some tough shots Tuesday at the likely Democratic front-runner – effectively accusing Hillary Clinton of running for office on a record of air travel.

Wether you like Hillary or not, it's tough to believe Carly has more experience in politics than Hillary.

But, Carly has a hell of a lot more experience with business and managing people... After all, a President is the CEO of the country...

You want another non-accomplishment person like Obama in the W.H.?

I don't think Carly will even win the R nomination. Hillary is as good as nominated for the D's.
I like Obama, he is a nice guy, and I would like to have a beer with him. But I don't think he makes the best President.

I dunno - did you see the WAPO report today?

Hillary getting millions in funding from foreign governments when she was Secretary of State. Talk about a major conflict of interest. All those miles flying around on the taxpayer dime to fund Bill's lifestyle and Hillary's political ambitions.

Unless there was some provable fraud the Dems will shake it off.

I delight in sarcasm, but I would seriously point out that this particular observation of CEO:Corporation::President:Nation is neither an epiphany nor extreme enough to warrant the qualifier of "best" or "worst" post. I view gov't as operating with a different agenda than a corporation (ideally, anyway). Would you want a president to run a country strictly for the profit of executive management (congress) and the investors (lobbyists)? Sounds like we already have that, albeit incompetently.

Just imagine the debates. "Hillary - can you name one accomplishment you had when were in charge of the State Department other than collecting millions for your personal foundation? Just one accomplishment"

Is Warren Buffet right that Clinton is a shoe in? Is this country really that fucked up?

I like Rand Paul but generally speaking a governor is a better choice than a senator, because they actually were executives. Which is one of the infinite reasons why O is so incompetent and Clinton would be just as bad or worse.

Tell you the truth I would settle for one who was sane, you have to go all the way back to Reagan for that and Eisenhower before that.

My pick would be Paul or Walker, especially if hr gets rid of collective bargaining in the state, puts me in mind of Silent Cal and his dealings with the unions.

Look who’s defending the 30,000 layoffs Carly Fiorina made at HP. Carly Fiorina, one of our women to watch this week, has found a high-profile defender in Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman.

The 2016 Republican presidential hopeful has been criticized for the 30,000 jobs she cut when she was running one of the world’s largest tech companies. A detractor even bought CarlyFiorina.org to lambast the former CEO.

But Meg Whitman, a fellow Republican who also has cut tens of thousands of jobs in her four-year tenure at HP and says more could be coming, said she understands the pressure Fiorina was under.

Oh look a Liberal pointing out how token women executives run companies into the ground.

They should have done it dribbles and drabs, to "Restructure" the lay offs so they look like small "firings" instead of mass layoff indicative that the company is serious trouble. Like the Liberal companies do.

About a month ago, Yahoo employees showed up to work one day to find that suddenly, two to three conference rooms on every floor had been taken over by human resources.

That day, somewhere between 100 and 200 employees lost their jobs in a layoff management described as an organizational realignment.

After the day was over, the rest of Yahoo's employees thought their jobs were safe.

Many of them were wrong.

Since that day in February, the group firings at Yahoo have continued at a steady, almost weekly pace.

There were more just this week, sources close to Yahoo employees tell us.

One source says teams were cut in Yahoo's Sunnyvale, New York, and Burbank offices. Another source says that, unlike in the first round of cuts a month ago, Yahoo let go of some engineers this time.

"She's been laying people off every Wednesday," says a source who was just let go.

"I got let go last Wednesday along with about 10 people in my group (search). The week prior, I had coworkers in the homepage team get let go — again on a Wednesday."

"The word is that she's purposely going for small layoffs each week between different groups so as to keep it low key."
