Horrible sterile corporate place
I look at that picture and think that's where all businesses are going, a giant centralized infrastructure where automation and outsourcing has eliminated the need for employees that use all that infrastructure.
"I had never heard of Windows 10. ...," she told the newspaper.
And that's a red flag right there. If your company is dependent on IT, and it probably is, you can go through life being completely ignorant of technology. That strategy just doesn't work in the 21st century.
In a "heads down" job like programming, it doesn't look like a bad place to work.
The only two guys I know who work in Microsoft's Seattle offices (in sales no less) are major dickheads. Still, hope they don't get laid off.
