If they brought SFH and Residential housing, not much, because Rent Control and Subsidized Working Class Apartment Housing will likely never happen again.

BTW, if you aren't a professional like a Dentist, Lawyer, etc. and you can't live off your assets like Duplex rentals, you ain't middle class.

Middle Class definition is: Those whose survival does not depend on being employed by someone else, even if it means they live barely above the poverty line.
Rich people not only don't depend on employment, but live well or fabulously.
Working Class people must work or go on welfare to survive.

90% of America is Working Class. Most americans would lose their home, savings, car repo'd, etc if they were out of work for a few months to a year, even if they live in $2,000/month 2 bed 2 bath Condo with a Leased Acura and a $70k/year job with a 20 year uninterrupted work history right this second.
