The combination of clueless American warmongering and disingenuous offers of "integration" from the EU have turned the Ukraine into a disaster area and its population of 40 million into paupers. Dmtry Orlov. http://cluborlov.blogspot.com/2015/04/notes-from-funeral.html#more

Well said Dmtry. Time to end this madness.

From the article:

And that isn't at all helpful. The combination of clueless American warmongering and disingenuous offers of “integration” from the EU have turned the Ukraine into a disaster area and its population of 40 million into paupers. The nightmarish regime in Kiev, whose brainwashed adherents go around defacing World War II monuments while idolizing and deifying Nazi war criminals, will be finished soon enough, but once it is gone there will be more bloodshed in this deeply self-conflicted society.

The Ukrainian identity and national brand are tarnished beyond all hope. After a prolonged and painful process of de-westernization and de-Nazification, all that will be left of it will be a memory of failure which few will recall willingly or pass on to their children. But to make healing possible, to allow this year (or two or three) of Ukrainian madness to be consigned to oblivion, something else must take its place. And that something can be just one thing: a compassionate, inclusive, supportive, pluralistic Russian identity.

That's true. The ordinary Ukrainians don't deserve any of the shit that is happening to them.

Don't know what I ever thought of Ukraine, but it amazing to see how much infrastructure and agriculture there is there, not to mention deep history. For some reason, my ignorant mind thought of it as kind of impoverished soviet backwater.
I started watching the vids when everything was wintery, cold and gloom. However, when spring arrived and stuff got green, forests grew in and the skies were blue, the place is beautiful, at least during the warm season.

I guess the powers that run this prison planet have decided it was ukranies time. just as they have with Lybia, Iraq, Iran, many war torn European and Asian countries time, many African nations have had their time.

We have no comprehension in the USA how it would be to be uprooted from where we live and thrown around the country full blown starving with no essentials....

AND someday, maybe soon, maybe later, they will decide it is going to be OUR TIME here in this county as well. Its just a matter of time!

In the aftermath of the Housing bubble, there were about 8 million foreclosures. Average it out at 3 people per dwelling and then double that for the number of renters that were impacted and you have about 50 million Americans that were economically displaced. This occurred in the most heavily armed country on the planet. The number of gun related incidents related to this displacement could probably be counted on two hands.
