Ok normally I don't like the pensioned union thugs, but in this case I am scratching my head-what did these 6 do for charges??

To calm the riots down. Sacrificial Lamb kind of thing...

2   HEY YOU   2015 May 1, 9:31pm

If any of the six vote for Democrats or Republicans they should be tried as co-conspirators in treason with all D & R voters because these two political theologies are destroying America.

Reminiscent of the LA riots.

All these allegations are just trumped-up charges against the six police officers to appease the crazy Baltimore rioters. What happens from here is beyond the comprehension of the idiot public as there will never be a trial or a sentencing for any of them. The media will stop reporting and you can count on all six police officers being released on bail and living happily ever after in protective custody where no one will ever see them again.

I think they're in trouble on accounta they murdered that one black dude. Ya know, in Maryland.

Thanks, 13th Amendment!

What, you were hoping for a simple
charge of destruction of property?

Awe, they was just havin' fun. They didn't mean to hurt the guy.
Everybody likes to tie the perps hands behind their back, throw them in the back of a van with rigid steel bench seats without a seatbelt and take hard rights and hard lefts.

Personally I believe unless you got unruly with the cops or the arrest is for a violent charge. No body should be placed in hand cuffs or restrained, unless you refused to get in the back of the police car, or the paddy wagon after being arrested. People should be treated like human beings regardless of the crime, jail and prison is the punishment. We don't need to mistreat people just to underscore the punishment.
Especially early on as the arrest and the person hasn't even been convicted of the crime. There's no need for police to restrain suspects, unless the give reason to.
THEN and this is a big FUCKING when.

The whole booking and bond hearing process should also be more respectful people's civil rights. There's no reason for the judges at bond hearing to treat everyone that comes in his court like they snuffed the Lindbergh baby.

Here's how arrests should work should you as the suspect follow the procedure and don't show your ass or try to escape.

Cop pulls you over, finds a warrant or pursued you after a crime was committed.

You pull over when the cop turns on his siren. He runs your info, comes back to you and tells you your under arrest. You comply with the officers instructions and get in the car.
You're taken to the station and then booked. Unless your were pulled over for a felony offense and will be placed in the population with parole violators and career criminals.
Traffic and Misdemeanors from people who don't have a felony rapsheet get placed in a holding tank with only other misdemeanor offenders and not with violent ex-cons and felons.
When you're booked you have to be given a time when the judge will see you, and the officers and employees of the jail, should still treat those suspects in booking, as tax paying citizens whom they still work for. They should at all times be respectful provided the prisoners are being respectful and answer questions honestly about the process of their booking. Judges should be on call 24hrs a day to expedite everyone's due process. Bonds should be set based on the crime and not based on the whims of activist judges or prosecutors aspirations, and how they have it or don't have it in for any given suspect.
In fact, some infractions should be automatic bonds set, which you would be informed of immediately during booking. Without having to see a judge.

Now keep in mind, I'm talking about non Violent crimes and misdemeanors.

As it is now someone caught with suspended license is arrested handcuffed thrown in the back of a squad car that has steel bars, and a bullet proof sneeze guard with the back seat right up against it, you can't even hardly breathe. Your taken to the station, made to strip and squat, while some cop perv peeks up your keyster. Then you're dressed in prison orange, placed in a holding cell with people who just busted a liquor bottle up against someone's head, and is bragging about it. And people who skipped bail on murder charges, everyone is the tank. Then you can stay there for up to 72 hours without anyone informing you of what is going on. Then based on how the judge fells, will set your bond accordingly if at all. In the meantime people lose their jobs, house, car, wife everything.
Because those goddamned assholes who thinks "Criminal Justice" is something you do to everyone that comes your way. It's all one big ole social experiment/training exercise. And in their eyes, there's not much difference between you (the illegal Left turning driver that didn't pay his ticket and forgot about the court date and dared to drive to work months later ),and the Ohio House of Horrors asshole that had those women in his dungeon.
And there certainly isn't any difference between the the color of those that dare to grace the presence of our for profit Law Enforcement system.

Most of the fun of being a cop, aside from the pension and disability benefits, is playing perp pinata. They are just trying to take all of the joy out of being powleece.

You just haven't been to Baltimore. Everyone there including the cops should be in handcuffs 24/7.

I just want to call attention to Captain Shuddup's post here. This isn't the first time he's said something so... Reality Based?

Lexington Market is pretty cool. You can be a white man amongst a sea of black folks and chill while eating good food. And the atmosphere is good.

Baltimore is evolving. The city has a lot of potential. Johns Hopkins. UMB. Harbor.

Quite an up-to-date simile, which will surely be immediately grasped by your audience here.

Even Will Rogers would tip his hat to you, Sir!

Baltimore police van driver Caesar Goodson not guilty on all 21 administrative charges in Freddie Gray case

More importantly, can the City get some of the $6.5 mil back from the Grey family? or has it all been ground down to little rocks and powder by now?

They are probably back to collecting welfare by now. I'm sure they will settle for $3.00 per month.
