The Enterprise Rent-a-Car which I use when I go out of town had both its water cooler in the public area and their coffee maker removed. Said the reason for removing the water cooler was that there was a chance a child might burn themselves if they pushed the hot water side by mistake.
At Chase Bank, two ATM machines have replaced two tellers so I had to have my debit card reactivated to avoid the other line which is served by only one teller.
AKA "Labor Discipline" and "Grow the Reserve Army of Labor to force wages and benefits down". Immigration helps accomplish this goal, while having the extra benefit of increasing demand for housing, filling landlord's pockets with increased rents and driving up property values due.
and in typical Tat trolling, he posts disingenuous charts that don't have anything to do with the OP... Here's a closer look at Tat's chart that reflects the past years since the recovery started:
Actually, it was directly relevant to the OP but you are just a little too slow to get it. Thunder understood. Can't say I'm surprised you didn't though.
Looks pretty flat to me over the last handful of years.... Want to tell us where all these continued profits are?
Only because you don't know how to read a graph. Profits are up 12.5% in the last year and 25% over the last 4 years. That seems pretty good to me. Wages and benefits certainly aren't up anywhere close to that.
Sure, if you say so.. It wouldn't be because corporations aren't making additional profits to pay their employees more and are struggling just to keep the doors open with all the increased costs? ... Nah, that couldn't be it...
Really?? Was the OP asking about the economy back in 1970's, 1980's and 1990's and earlier??
You'd have to ask him, but he was implying (like you) incorrectly that wages and benefits being down is a reflection of corporate profits being down. That's why I posted the chart showing that profits are up--precisely because wages are down.
Here's the closer graph, since you seem to not be able to produce it to back up your bullshit.... Where's the 12.5% (and the 25% from last 4 years)????

Ready to admit you're a Troll and full of shit yet?
Nope--I'm right. You just don't understand how to read a graph. On a YOY graph with what looks like quarterly measurements, you won't have a point with the total yearly rise on it unless every other measurement is zero. Again--you can very easily calculate the % rise from the other graph you posted. I didn't make these numbers up-I just took them from your earlier graph.
Jobs are still all moving to China/Mexico/India, any place where labor is as close to slavery as possible. Naturally there isn't much trickle up since folks can't get jobs to get themselves out of their station.
Now I hear if you work for a financial institution you can be making a good living, don't think that applies anywhere else though. Obama had 8 years to do something about that, he did nothing.

can you help?
I can't easily remove everything, because other people quoted landtof in lots of places.
But I can easily assign all of landtof's comments and posts to belong to no user at all, and delete the landtof user. Then the comments and posts will just be by "anonymous".

Presumably the hirsute lesbinazi's don't confiscate your personal computer of course.
it just seems like silicon valley especially has lost it's mind. i don't know if "liberals" are just so embarrassed that they've lost the voter/political support so quickly and decisively, or if it's something else, but i would no longer be surprised if BIG corporations started massive censorship / doxx / labeling / take-it-to-the-next-level psycho craziness. they are having a really hard time with losing. to the point of serious vindictiveness. every time they convince themselves that trump is going to get impeached or even resign (really???) and then he just keeps going ever stronger, they seem to get more violent and weird and threatening.
i joined this site back when it was about RE and choosing to rent vs. buy in california. the digital world has since changed a tremendous amount. we all need to adapt from the online entities we were a decade ago - and i have, except for the fact that this site seems to be one of a very small few that i still come back to under an old entity.

Does anyone have a break down,by numbers,of the 94 million not in the work force?
What about imposed social awareness and forced activism?
But yeah! Forced Activism even when it conflicts with every common sense fiber in your body.
Don't confuse companies treating their employees like crap with corporate profits being bad. Employers treat employees badly because they can. Period.

Yep. If you knew how to read a graph, you'd see that. The graph you just posted confirms my post, it doesn't refute it.

Yep

See at the end of the graph where the line goes up above zero for all of the last year? Your chart is YOY growth and the scale is very condensed.
But, it's pretty easy to calculate the growth percentages off the graph you posted earlier.
