And he gets publicly excoriated by the media. Even other GOP candidates called him out for it. For saying something that is 100% true! Islam is a clear and present danger to the Western world. And from what I see on the comments to this article (which is totally blowing up btw), the grand majority of people believe the same thing Dr. Carson says. He might be establishment but with this bold statement I'm putting Carson on the fast track for the top. Quit the campaign? Hardly, this statement will rise him to the top.

The ignorant people who think all Muslims are violent would think this. If that is a majority of the people the Zionists have done what they set out to do, make the US into the hateful image of Israel. You must be proud, Bigsby.

No one thinks all Muslims are violent. Grow up.

He should. After all he literally looked into the head of many.

3   Shaman   2015 Sep 22, 11:08am

Not all Muslims are violent of course! Most of them would be happy for some other more violent Muslim to kill you and your children for Allah.
No other religion mandates tax slavery or death for those who don't submit to their creed. Islam also mandates death for those who leave the religion or convert to another religion, condemning them as apostates. How do you reconcile that believe (held by the majority of Muslims) with any damn thing in the Constitution? Americans are waking up to the threat that Islam poses to the West. The way it goes with Europe as the newest wave of immigrants/refugees(invaders) washes over their borders will be very, very instructional.

And Obama's administration (via his appointee Kerry) just announced that we will be importing 100,000 of these terrorists into our country each year.
That fucker needs to get out of office and into a nice set of handcuffs. The public is positively outraged at this complete abnegation of any care at all for the will of the American people.

4   lostand confused   2015 Sep 22, 11:09am

5   resistance   2015 Sep 22, 11:32am

Islam also mandates death for those who leave the religion or convert to another religion

this is not just theoretical. people actually get killed for leaving islam:

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/pregnant-christian-woman-sudan-sentenced-death-apostasy-n105961

http://www.jpost.com/Features/In-Thespotlight/Saudi-faces-beheading-for-apostasy

http://www.cnn.com/2011/12/13/world/meast/saudi-arabia-beheading/index.html

this is exactly the opposite of freedom of religion.

so how do you tolerate a violently intolerant religion? this is a fundamental contradiction that western democracies need to deal with.

if you tolerate islam, you are helping to spread violent intolerance.
if you do not tolerate islam, you are not tolerating a religion, which is against the constitution.

what is the answer?

Someone's constitutional rights are gonna be trampled. So far it is ours, which horrifies and distresses me no end.
In the end secularism must win, and Islam must lose. All other religions lost out over secularism, why not the most fucked up religion?
The concept of protecting the rights of the very people bent on taking the lives of others needs to take a step back.

7   Tenpoundbass   2015 Sep 22, 1:24pm

No Trump does, but Carson will make a fine Veep!

8   CL   2015 Sep 22, 1:33pm

I don't want a Christian to be President. They are cannibals, who as a matter of course, eat flesh and drink human blood! They have a long history of oppressing minorities and forced conversions.

They SAY they can separate their religious and public duties, but I don't believe them. Their religious texts clearly say that women are subordinate, to die for their leader, to gouge out your own eyes if you masturbate, and these are the simple ones.

9   CL   2015 Sep 22, 1:34pm

Oh, and Ben Carson is the dumbest acclaimed surgeon I've ever seen. He has very enlightened views about a lot of things--like evolution and homosexuality!

The Christians can, much better than pretty much any other religion.

CL says

It's funny in a tragic way how the progressive leftoids always disregard or trivialize brutal killings of apostates, (mostly female) adulterers and yes even homosexuals by a huge and growing force to reckon with as long as they can point their finger at somebody who says they think homosexuality is a sin (or evolution should be questioned) but otherwise fully supports the constitution and the same civil rights for everyone. Why would you hate Christians and your Christian ancestors so much that you are ready to excuse anything as long as you can point their finger at them?

12   Entitlemented   2015 Sep 22, 3:49pm

Some people believe god exists, some dont.

But if she/he/diety does exist, its almost certain that hes smarter than us mortals.

So its certain that god does not want us to kill in his name, as if he cant do it, if diety exists.

So thus, until the fringe that espouses violence is under control, its not pragmatic to have this group as president.

If you suggested that a Christian be president of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, or Iraq, how much tolerance would there be?

Carson - Pragmatic, Tolerant when tolerance is merited.

You are correct, but they hate non violent Muslims the same, and Pam Geller has stated that.

Muslims hate Zionists, and so do you. I really don't give a damn.
I hate the Shariah laws, and so should the Muslims.

bgamall4 says

So, the Zionists have succeeded if they get people to fear peaceful Muslims, too. You are a retard, Strategist.

I could say the same thing by switching "Zionists" with "Muslims"

Well, as it turns out, Charlie Hebdo did provoke and the editor of Charlie Hebdo was a Pam Geller type, pro Israel and not interested in free speech so much as putting Israeli views into the mix. And that is exactly what is happening here. Israel wants us to hate all Muslims, peaceful or not. Pam Geller was sponsored by Israeli lobbyists. Strategist thinks this sort of bigotry is just fine, or at least that is the impression I get. I have a short fuse with him, sorry. He may just be a disgusting troll, I don't know.

But America has had a history of tolerance, and it is written into the constitution. So, the US is being wrongly turned to bigotry, and it is paid for by Zionist in Israel and their globalist friends.

This is exactly the kind of thinking we are talking about. We can provoke politicians with cartoons, we can provoke any other religion with cartoons, but we cannot do the same with Islam without facing the death penalty. The Shariah laws have been enforced upon us, and our government is powerless to stop it.

20   Strategist   2015 Sep 22, 7:37pm

bgamall4 says

But that is not the reason why it was done.

Really? Why were they killed?

bgamall4 says

Sharia law is practiced by few Muslim nations.

They all do in one form or the other.

bgamall4 says

Muslims are fleeing the ISIS Caliphate. Give it a chance and it will work out, Strategist.

What is working out to you?

bgamall4 says

Trust me, the Zionists have caused all the problems that now exist in the Middle East. They have funded and engaged in regime change, they have funded one Muslim group against another, they have caused the refugees in Europe. They are the primary reason there is hell in the middle east and God will so judge them for this, from Cheney, to Netanyahu to all the rest.

Trust me, it's all due to Islam.

Bwahahahahaha. Before the Zionists showed up, the Middle East was a peaceful place, where Sufis, Salafyi/Wahabis, Ibadi, and Shi'a all sang kumbayah around the fire. Kindly Sheiks and Noble Kings dispensed wealth as proclaimed by the Koran, to the poor and suffering. There was no slave trade, and little girls were not sold to Sheiks, or children made into cripples to beg for money. Everybody had two camels.

If Carson is a Christian & eats any pork, shellfish or fish/sea food without scales,he'll probably burn in Hell. No Christian that does these things should be President. How's that belief that America was founded on Judeo-Christian Propaganda,Carson?
Rightwing religious nuts.

God don't play hypocrisy.

32   Shaman   2015 Sep 23, 5:35am

It's always amusing when atheists quote Jewish law at Christians to prove they are bad bad bad! Christianity puts the teachings of Jesus over the law of Moses. Christians look to the law for guidance but not mandate, and consider grace and mercy to be paramount, superceding the harsh old law.

America isn't a Christian nation and hasn't ever really been. A lot of Christians of different flavor have lived here, but actual followers of the teachings of Jesus? Maybe the Amish. Everyone else was busy fighting for their share of the American pie.

I don't hate Christians, or our primitive ancestors. I hate stupidity, or pandering masked as stupidity.

I'm open to the idea that we sprang from the a giant Lotus flower from the Buddha's belly. I don't believe it though because all of our historic, scientific and rational thought indicates that is a silly idea.

Carson believes that religion can exclude a candidate AND claims to believe in the Constitution. He believes in fairy tales as a scientist, and so on. He might've prescribed himself too many oxys, but he appears to be an idiot savant. Socially awkward, crazy, confused but pretty good at a task where he doesn't have to interact with normal people.

Because many people in America are starting to reject the truth that most Muslims are peaceful. It is called Islamophobia. You aren't aware of that Bigsby?

Yeah, and the whole population of the US reads Patrick.net, do they? Ignorant people make up their own reality irrespective of the facts - just look at you.

bgamall4 says

I have my own religious views, but America is supposed to be a tolerant nation which gives us strength as a nation. We must be tolerant, and cannot hate entire religious or racial or ethnic groups like Geller and Kolomoyskyi do.

Is it? According to whom? And you aren't really best placed to talk about tolerance given the offensive drivel you post day in and day out.

bgamall4 says

You are like Trump, who has many Muslim friends but is at least xenophobic at heart, and maybe worse.

Yes, yes, pointing out the bleeding obvious on a forum read by a handful of people is obviously an important educational opportunity.

Tolerance is the opposite of bigotry. That does not mean one accepts the views of others as his own. We aren't advocating thought police. People have a right to their own views. But America is the opposite of bigotry, probably more than any other nation on the face of the earth.

America isn't the opposite of bigotry. It's a relatively young nation with some good and bad history. And that includes plenty of intolerance and bigotry. To state otherwise is ridiculous.
