Don't you just love the way modern dimbulb right wingers think that whatever they wish to be true, overrules what the best research and the consensus of a super (extreme) majority of the smartest scientists out there tells us ?

A new survey done by Purdue University found that more than 90% of scientists in non climate disciplines believe that average global temperatures are higher than pre-1800s levels and that human activity has significantly contributed to the rise. OF course we already know that 97% of climate scientists say the same.

“We wanted to see how pervasive this disbelief in science was, so we surveyed other disciplines including climatology but much broader studies in Big Ten universities,” said Prokopy.

She says the drive behind the survey came from seeing media outlets bring in scientists to debate against the issue, and Prokopy wanted to see how many of those scientists exist.

“So finding the outliers and bringing them in to show there are two sides is a little disingenuous when there really is just one side,” said Prokopy.

In the wing nut sphere there's a story from 2011 (or before ?) about some guy (Dr David Evans) supposedly that thinks he's proven that the models are all wrong. IT only got traction in the right wing owned media for a brief time. But apparently there a dim bulbs trying to warm up his theories again. Gee, I wonder who benefits from stalling our agreement about what's true regarding climate change.
