They can "reject" austerity all they want, but they will have to come up with their own money to pay for their shit. The only path forward this way is default, clear bad debt and then try to reestablish a "valued" and "trusted" currency. Not an easy task, but that's what bankruptcy is for.

I reject austerity as well.

Or they could have some debt forgiven as Germany debt was forgiven after WW2. Of course Germany forgives no debt.

Why is Germany so successful?

Easy, because they had most of the debt forgiven after WW2. Germany is successful because Germany is a predator. All you have to do is see how VW cheated to see what they are made of.

Oh, and see how they treat Greece.

Oh God.
Now tell me....why are your Arab friends such failures?

Because they are not lazy fucks like Mediterranean peoples.

Sometimes I think you get paid to be stupi

What part of Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal makes you think that they aren't lazy?

Greeks work some of the longest hours in the world - about 20-25% more hours per year than Germans, who are one of the laziest people in the world by manhours worked per year.

Spain didn't have fiscal problems before the financial crisis, it was one of the thriftiest countries in Europe and one of the least indebted among Western Nations.

Greeks work more hours but Germans are more productive:

Which is more important again?

When you figure in how early a lot of Greeks get to retire, that might change the number of hours worked by quite a bit.

Far more hours worked each year than Germans and the Greek average retirement age is 61.7, a few months previous to Germany's 62.

Looks like my 20-25% more hours per year was off base, it's actually closer to 50%. Germans get weeks and weeks off work each year as well as a shorter workday.
