Trump may be wrong, and I was in Beantown at the time, but talking about Suspicious Local Muslims on TV and Radio was definitely a big thing in those days. It's easy to see how the mind and 15 years of distance could have altered the memory.

I didn't think it was ever a secret. I remember seeing footage of people in traditional Muslim garb dancing around a dusty, foreign street right after 9/11. Why are people acting like this never happened? I don't know how ubiquitous the celebratory mood was among their other countrymen, but there were definitely groups of people celebrating as the buildings came down.

So in the age of internet and phone camera's why isn't there a single picture or actual news article of these thousands of people dancing and celebrating? No newspaper articles, no radio news, no internet stories, no tv news, no nothing. Just a couple of people saying they may have heard about it.
