Yes. Obama is a time traveler, that went back in time, to cause trends that can be traced back to the 80s.
Obama is a time traveler,
"... trouble in this new economy,..."
Pay attention or sit in the corner.
Wow the bottom percentiles' wages dropping. Obviously Obama was right to sign a bill that created 200k+ visas for unskilled workers; there's clearly upward wage pressure that could stifle the economy.

You don't get any less stupid, no matter how hard you try. "New" is a relative term.
People were talking about this "new economy" with manufacturing exported to Asia or Mexico, the so called service economy, with all the jobs in the service sector, the information age, globalization, all these things are relatively new.
But not this week kinda new.
YOu're going to blame Obama for not doing a better job of not bringing us out of the great recession (which you probably think he caused even though the financial crisis that precipitated it was in full swing when he was inaugurated).
I do see a new economy in the financial world. I remember "monetary policy" back when the fed could lower interest rates to stimulate growth or tighten when they thought things were overheated. During virtually Obama's entire term in office we have been in a "liquidity trap." Short term rates have been at close to zero.
The "new economy" is something you don't and won't understand, you aren't even curious to learn, because it isn't satisfying to you emotionally.
Maybe you can name policies of Obama's that have caused this liquidity trap ?
Or perhaps you can tell me how Trump is going to get us out of it ? Or how it will be good for his family's real Estate holdings ?
Pay attention or sit in the corner.
Yeah right. I just wish you had the bandwidth and information processing ability to know where to focus your attention.
In seeking to explain Trump’s appeal, he pointed to “economic stresses†– from the financial crisis, technology and globalization – and “flatlining†wages.
He said “particularly blue-collar men have had a lot of trouble in this new economy, where they are no longer getting the same bargain that they got when they were going to a factory and able to support their families on a single paycheck, you combine those things and it means that there is going to be potential anger, frustration, fear.

So the standard of living is dropping. Hey, who the heck is responsible?
