In the largest, most in-depth study to date on regret surrounding sexual activity, a team of psychology researchers found a stark contrast in remorse between men and women, potentially shedding light on the evolutionary history of human nature.

[M]en regret missing opportunities to have sex, while women feel remorse for having casual, meaningless sex.

On college campuses, a woman's regret is recast into "rape". This is the only plausible explanation for the 1 in 4 women are raped statistic. In reality, 1 in 4 women have casual sex they later regret. Calling this rape both harms innocent people and trivializes actual rape victims, both of which is morally reprehensible.

Women have sex? I thought that nature just generated a money and resource activated paralyzing hormone that made them hold still long enough for men to have sex.
