Feel free to post yours. The more detailed and thoughtful the better!

Here's mine:
1) the Republican nomination goes to Marco Rubio.
a)Cruz and Rubio and others stay in long enough to secure a bunch of delegates, and when they bow out (all except Rubio) they endorse Rubio thus assigning their delegates to him. Trump gets about 35-40% of the delegates, but Rubio gets all the rest. The superdelegates are assigned to Rubio by party elders and the gay Cuban is crowned.

2) Bernie eeks out a win for the Democrat nomination.

3)Trump runs as a third party candidate. He's never really been a Republican and he feels no loyalty to a party that didn't want him. The GOP party leaders go into apoplexy. Trump reminds them that he never actually promised!

4) a significant amount of Republican voters abandon their party and vote Trump leaving Rubio with no chance of a win.

5) Bernie gets 45% of the vote. Trump gets 30% of the vote, and Rubio gets 25%.

6)America becomes socialist and CiC's brain explodes.

Hehe. I say Trump will go all the way through and win against Sanders.

2   lostand confused   2016 Feb 5, 11:22am

I still think trump will win. he did pretty well in a state like Iowa. lets see.
If America goes socialist, I guess I will just move to Malibu and live in rich people's beach properties for free and eat their food??

About a month ago, I picked Rubio for the GOP (https://patrick.net/?p=1288255&c=1254265#comment-1254265). It will probably be Rubio V Clinton. Trump and Cruz don't have enough general appeal. Cruz has potential when the race head south, but I imagine that electability will cause a shift to Rubio. For some reason, minorities in the south probably won't vote for Bernie - at least that's the common thought.

As much as I'd like it to be different, I agree. Rubio vs. Clinton is likely.

The only way I think it doesn't happen is if the rumors about Rubio's skeletons are true, or if Clinton gets indicted.

5   Shaman   2016 Feb 5, 1:16pm

I think a Rubio v. Clinton match would be ripe for a Trump Third party challenge. Enough of the disaffected out there would be enraged by the "stealing" of the primaries by establishment candidates that he might just win! I'd certainly be voting for Trump in that situation.
How would you vote? (Clinton, Rubio, Trump)

6   MisdemeanorRebel   2016 Feb 5, 1:45pm

Bernie or Trump. Nobody else. Hitlery, Kasich, Rubio, Jeb!, and Cruz under no circumstances.

Actually, if it is a Rubio v. Clinton race, I would root for Rubio because he's the most openly pro-immigration and pro-Free Trade and pro-Free Market top 3 candidate, so when the economy collapses his policies will get the focus. Hillary is the same but she tries to hide the fact she's Wall Street's most preferred candidate. But I wouldn't waste my time voting between Neoliberal Dee and Neoliberal Dum.

The real Hillar-ity of the election is Clinton denying that $675,000 for three speeches, or the millions of FIRE money she's received so far in her career both personally and as campaign contributions, don't bias her.

And that anybody would be STUPID enough to believe that's true.

If some auditor who passed a company that operated in the grey area, and received maybe $5000 worth of free drinks and meals and room upgrades, we'd be like "AHA!" Apparently you can be the ultimate regulator of an industry and take millions, but that's not corruption or quid pro quo!

What will be interesting to see primary results once we get to some open primary states.

8   Bellingham Bill   2016 Feb 6, 4:35pm

anything but Clinton vs. Bush plz.

not because of the peeps, just the names.

9   anonymous   2016 Feb 6, 6:18pm

I kinda wanna Hillary to beat out Sanders. He wouldn't be able to implement much if any of what he's promised. And i want the world to see what true phonys the Democrat party is; that they'd have the chance to elect someone who actually stands for everything they claim to believe in, and instead, bend over, grab their cankles, and gobble up a giant fart sandwich of Clinton bullshit.

I think Trump loves this country more than this. I think Trump actually likes Rubio, a lot.

It's all about his fears (and his total immaturity

Says the moron that posts a half dozen threads a day about Bernie sanders and 50+ posts all day everyday, the majority of which are pre-teen esque memes and pictures popular amongst the double digit IQ crowd

12   Tenpoundbass   2016 Feb 7, 6:51am

Bill Gates has already decided this and we're all wrong.
It's going to be a tight race between Hillary and Bush. He's still accepting the highest bid.
That's why they are both franticly still raising money, when it would seem neither of them stands a decent chance.. That Bill Gates is a ball buster, he calls each one of them every day and says... "TICK TOCK!" then hangs up.

If Democrats win again, we are all going to be pretty much fucked. Seen this happen before in other countries, same socialist shit always has same shit outcomes.

That ship sailed between 4 and 8 years ago.

Although a case could be made that the pathology started at 1800 with John Marshall, Hamilton's legacy through Lincoln and on to Wilson, FDR, LBJ, Obama, and now likely Clinton.

You got that part right:

-

And once again, CIC demonstrates he doesn't know the difference between intelligence and age.

If anything, young people are more worried about the future of the country than seniors.

Ron Paul was one of the few that continually voiced opposition (Trump is on the record speaking against the Iraq war as well).

As was Sanders.

Not really--Sanders is against the Patriot Act.

You'd be surprised at the similarities.

Sure, because everyone knows kids between 17 and 29 are ALL rocket scientists!

Just how many gallons of Sander's Kool-aid do you drink every day?

Are you incapable of making a logical argument?

I said there is no correlation between age and intelligence and your response is this:

Sure, because everyone knows kids between 17 and 29 are ALL rocket scientists!

What is wrong with you?

20   tatupu70   2016 Feb 7, 11:13am

Of course they are, they want everything GIVEN to them, and don't want to work for it. The seniors have already paid their dues and worked hard for 40 years.

I'm sorry your kids are spoiled brats, but I can assure you that all children aren't this way. Most had better family role models.

21   indigenous   2016 Feb 7, 11:18am

my concern is that one is a Libertarian and one is a Communist; Which IMO are not similar at all.

22   tatupu70   2016 Feb 7, 11:29am

Ironman says

You "say" a lot of things but NEVER back them up with FACTS or DATA... You're "opinion" doesn't mean shit here!

I didn't think anyone would disagree with that statement. Did you attend any schooling?

If anything, the prevailing theory is that intelligence declines with age, especially when you reach senior citizenship. Studies are being performed to try to measure the effect and determine if's related to senses or intelligence.

23   anonymous   2016 Feb 7, 11:58am

Only someone with a double digit IQ would think that age has anything to do with intelligence

I was in 2nd grade when they pulled me from class to do an IQ test, score me a 150, and begin advanced classes so i was able to graduate by the end of Sophomore year of HS

I moved out of my parents house at 17 and now with multiple properties and businesses, I'm ready to vote for Sanders

Put that in your stupid pipe and feel the Bern!

25   tatupu70   2016 Feb 7, 12:26pm

Actually, you've furthered my point. After 50 all lines are going down pretty quickly according to that study.

But, like I said, there are many studies going on now, and there is general disagreement.

26   tatupu70   2016 Feb 7, 12:51pm

Ironman says

No, it blew your point out of the water. We weren't discussing "after 50", we were discussing the 17 to 29 age group and intelligence and where Bernie gets the highest percentage of supporters, but thanks for trying and smoke screening you being proven to be an ass.... again...

Did you read the article? Let me provide a few other quotes for you:

"As expected, the research found that some skills, like our ability to think quickly and recall information (also known as fluid intelligence), follow the familiar pattern: peaking at about 18 and falling over the rest of our lives."

"At almost any given age, most of us are getting better at some things and worse at others," lead study author and MIT department of brain and cognitive sciences researcher Joshua Hartshorne told Business Insider"

So you think posting one study that partially agrees and partially disagrees with my statement somehow proves that there ISN'T disagreement??? You are the biggest clown on pat.net

btw--who's we? I was very clearly stating that intelligence and age are not correlated. You, on the other hand, have the crazy idea that young adults aren't as intelligent as seniors.

28   B.A.C.A.H.   2016 Feb 7, 1:15pm

It'll be rigged. Maybe more like the riggings in 1960 and 2004 than in 2000.
