Donald Trump's opposition to the invasion of Iraq is under scrutiny.

A 2002 interview with Howard Stern shows Trump saying that he did, in fact, support the invasion.

"Yeah, I guess so," Trump told the radio host when asked directly. "I wish the first time it was done correctly."

Well, if that isn't a resounding, affirmative and powerful YES answer, nothing is...

Was it a "no"?

A weak case at best though. You're trash talking with Howard Stern who makes plenty of jokes and exaggerations because it's his job to be funny, so yeah you just shoot out of your hip. Now somebody promised to cut the deficit in half a long time ago..

Yeah, that was a whole lotta mining to find that one quote. You know that everyone from Cruz to Bush, and MSNBC, Hillary Campaign, Fox News, etc. has had countless people just pouring over media and following any potential lead for days now... and this is all they got. A tepid "I guess so."

You mean he said that on the most listened to syndicated radio show in the world at the time, During a time when the MSM was activly seeking out celebrity disidents to sacrafice to the gods of war.
Richard Geere still hasn't been in anything mention worthy since then.
"Yeah I guess so!" = "Yeah OK sure sugar pants what ever you say... USA! USA! USA!"

Because it's a lot of their core audience that like Trump. So in that way, if elected, he does really throw a major wrench into the status quo of the right wing media machine (that is if he pursues some liberal policies. Maybe he wouldn't).

He hasn't even gotten to you sick FUCKS yet, relax and wait your turn. He'll get to Bernillary next.

Trump One Day Into Iraq Invasion: “It Looks Like A Tremendous Success”

..
“Well, I think Wall Street’s waiting to see what happens but even before the fact they’re obviously taking it a little bit for granted and it looks like a tremendous success from a military standpoint and I think this is really nothing compared to what you’re gonna see after the war is over,” Trump told Cavuto on Friday, March 21, 2003, the audio of which was obtained by BuzzFeed News through Vanderbilt University.
“I think Wall Street’s just gonna go up like a rocket, even beyond, and it’s gonna continue and, you know, we have a strong and powerful country and let’s hope it all works out,” continued Trump.
