The men's island turned into a thriving village while the women's island went to shit - eventually the producers had to swap out a few so the women would get some help.
At 14 minutes: "I once had an interview with a social biologist and he said if it was for women we would have lived in the stone age. And I start believing it more and more."
Pretty heavy stuff.

Interestingly, science supports this. Women cooperate less with their own sex than men

The myth of the sisterhood may have been shattered after scientists discovered that women only get on with each other if they are on the same social or professional rank.

Previously it had been thought that men were generally more competitive and females more cooperative because of an innate desire to nurture.

But researchers have turned the stereotype on its head after finding that women deem hierarchy as more important to relationships and are less willing to work with those they consider to be beneath them.

It's been the plot of many a chick-flick. A young woman starting her career and a middle age woman at the peek of hers butt heads. Usually the young woman is portrayed as the hero.

Yeah, drawing social conclusions from a rigged TV entertainment is what I regard as rigorous thought.

I base all my political philosophy on anecdotes, horror stories and television shows.

Actually, that show is a bit of a scientific experiment with one variable: gender

Sure, it's not rigorous science, but what if the same events were replicated 10 times, or 100? It wouldn't be an anecdote then.

Nothing's perfect, but this comes closest to a real scientific experiment. You'd think that if everything was scripted it would have come out after 10+ tears have passed, esp. in a media landscape where anything remotely patriarchy-promoting or "insensitive" is immediately attacked and censored. It surely beats psychologists asking women if they "feel" "violated" by the patriarchy in scientific rigor.

waited until the chicks' encampment was starving ... island king ... personal slave harem.

It's as if the basic methods of scientific inquiry have been tossed aside.

What happened to the scientific method?

How come the women are allowed to wear clothes? I'm disappointed in the Dutch.

No conclusions can be drawn from a weenie, civilized group.

The last man standing gets to be KING and impregnate all the mewling beeyatches, standing over the corpses of the other slain men with a massive hard on.

Then, the women do all the work while the sperm donor lounges about in leisure.

This is as scientific as it gets. No modern psychologist ever came that close. Might as well replace the curriculum of 4 years of gender studies with that 20 minute clip. Lots of taxpayer money saved!

Wasn't that the plot of 300?

Women should just wear strap-on dildos, and pleasure each other.

Men can boink fembot droids and build a civilization without them.

12   Ceffer   2016 Feb 28, 11:26pm

The women's island became putrid because nobody would take out the garbage.

How do you manufacture a fembot droid from coconuts and palm leaves?

All women are like that? I thought it was just my GF.

My spouse gets up before I do, goes to bed often after I do, and usually creates more
order and organization than I do. The producers picked the most sloth-like group
of women I could imagine. Funny though.

Most of the show would be about beach orgies.

...and the rest would be dead air.

I believe you are thinking of this classic nature documentary:
