Anyone illegally in the US, including those overstaying visa, who are stopped by police ought to be arrested on the spot and turned over to ICE. Thats the law, and we ought to enforce it from the executive branch on down.
Any law enforcement officer or agency refusing to do so should be arrested and be charged with treason.

marcus - you are okay then with having "undocumented citizens" being given the right to file civil actions ?
I didn't say that. But I do think some Trump supporters would be surprised to know that such centers even exist.

Other than legally vote what can't they do that you can do especially in California ? You have a better term that is legal in the state of California ?
They are not supposed to get government benefits, etc... but with fake driver licenses and social security numbers many still do, they even vote.

That and once they have kids here its a gravy train, living by the standards they are use to and coming from. I've had a few friends and my self included that have had car accidents with illegals they can go after you but you are screwed because they are next to impossible to go after, my one encounter the cops wouldn't do anything and they got insurance after the accident and went after me for years trying with at least 4 different lawyers that would just drop the case before the court date. Giving them a license does nothing since most of them can't afford it, but I'm sure that eventually that will be subsidized for them in the near future along with medical.

I once got into a fender bender with an illegal too. Idiot started asking for my insurance. Once I realized Juan wasn't legal I told him to go take a hike, no insurance and no license. He wasn't too happy, but he figured it's better than getting deported. Liberals love those people though, cheap labor is great for them, and it drives wages down like nothing else can for America.
Btw they get their fake SS numbers out here in Canoga Park, common knowledge in this part of town. Those fake SS won't pass the E-Verify, but will let them work in places that don't use that system.

Liberals want illegals here for several reasons.
- Drives american wages down.
- Increases rents due to higher demand.
- Grow welfare dependency since their kids will need assistance.
They have a pretty good system for putting America into shackles.

I spent most of the weekend with our hospitalized veterans as a VA Volunteer. How about dignity for our dying vets?
“The Dignity not Detention Act takes a stand against the mass incarceration of immigrants in detention facilities and inhumane immigration detention conditions,†Lara said in a statement. “Our state and local governments should not be complicit in this awful practice of profiting off of human suffering.â€
The end goal would be to shut down private detention centers in California, said Lara, who was expected to announce his legislation Friday in Los Angeles.
State Sen. Ricardo Lara (D-Bell Gardens) and civil rights groups on Friday proposed sweeping new standards and restrictions on the immigrant detention facilities in California.
In a political challenge to the use of private, for-profit detention centers, the Democratic legislator is proposing to bar cities from contracting with them on behalf of ICE, and to allow those detained to file civil actions against the facility’s operator if their rights are violated.
The right to bring civil action would also apply to detainees in facilities that are not privately run, such as Theo Lacy.
