Making America more like Scandinavia

A once powerful demographic group is losing ground in American politics. For most of the countrys history, white Christian Americathe cultural and political edifice built primarily by white Protestant Christians set the tone for our national conversations and shaped American ideals. But today, many white Christian Americans feel profoundly anxious as their numbers and influence are waning. The two primary branches of their family tree, white mainline and white evangelical Protestants, offer competing narratives about their decline. White mainline Protestants blame evangelical Protestants for turning off the younger generation with their anti-gay rhetoric and tendency to conflate Christianity with conservative, nationalist...

Love it. It's time to classify only peaceful regions as religions. Islam is not a peaceful religion, everyone knows that.

Slovakia passes law to BAN Islam from being registered as a religion.

"Slovakia passed legislation on Wednesday to effectively block Islam from gaining official status as a religion in the near future in the latest sign of growing anti-Muslim sentiment across the European Union.
Prime Minister Robert Fico's government has said Islam has no place in Slovakia.

Parliament adopted a bill sponsored by the Slovak National Party (SNS), junior member in Fico's coalition, that requires a religion to have at least 50,000 members, up from 20,000, to qualify for state subsidies and to run its own schools.

The change will make it much harder to register Islam, which has just 2,000 adherents in Slovakia according to the last census and no recognised mosques.
"Islamisation starts with a kebab and it's already under way in Bratislava, let's realise what we can face in five to 10 years ... We must do everything we can so that no mosque is built in the future," SNS chairman Andrej Danko said earlier.
The law was approved by a two-thirds majority in parliament comprising both ruling and opposition parties. Lawmakers turned down a proposal by the opposition far-right People's Party-Our Slovakia to raise the religion membership bar to 250,000.

The small central European country's population is 5.4 million; 62 percent of it is declared Roman Catholic."

"Slovakia’s Prime Minister has said that “Islam has no place” in the country – weeks before it takes over the presidency of the EU.
Mr Fico advanced hard-line views about migration and said he would not accept “one single Muslim” migrant into the country – points he reiterated in his first post-election interview this week.

Speaking about migration, he told Slovakian news agency TASR: “When I say something now, maybe it will seem strange, but I’m sorry, Islam has no place in Slovakia.

“I think it is the duty of politicians to talk about these things very clearly and openly."
Slovakia is due take over the EU’s rotating presidency from 1 July, giving it a greater role in discussions about how the continent should tackle its migration and refugee crisis.

Along with the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, Slovakia has called for Europe’s borders to be sealed off to block the main routes used by refugees to enter Europe.
The Prime Minister told TASR that he had heard about other countries’ negative experiences of migration, including Malta.

Hungarian PM: The European Multicultural Experiment ‘Has Utterly Failed’
Orban refuses to bow to EU, Soros pressure

During a party function in Budapest this week, Orban reinforced the positions for which he is well known: secure national borders, zero tolerance for illegal immigration, defense of Hungarian culture and “Christian civilization,” stiff criticism of the EU’s globalist agenda, and a commitment to battling Hungarian-born international mobster and financial terrorist, George Soros.

“No one can command any nation who should live in their own country, this can only be the sovereign decision of nations,” he said, referring to harassment from the European Union and its most powerful member states, like Germany and France, who are applying immense pressure upon Hungary to accept migrant resettlement ‘quotas.’ “There is almost complete consensus that the independence of our economy and our migration policy must be protected from interference by Brussels.”

“We do not want to participate in the German experiment in the falsification of history, which tries to blame Hungary for letting the migrants into Europe, instead of Germany. Multiculti has utterly failed, and they want its price to be paid by all European Union member states, including Hungary.”

Hungary was once inundated with a surge of migrants before the rapid erection of a multi-tiered, electrified border wall and implementation of aggressive deportation policies, and now its citizens overwhelmingly oppose accepting illegal immigrants, “not a single one, not temporarily, not at all,” said Orban.

“We should not let illegal migrants roam around in the country, which would give them a chance to vanish, disappear from our eyes.”

A referendum held last year saw Hungarians vote 98% in rejection of EU migrant quotas.

Orban recently accused the EU of “openly siding with terrorists,” saying, “Those who support migration, want to demolish the fence and would let migrants of uncertain origin, identity and motivation settle in Hungary are acting against the Hungarian nation.”

“As long as I am the Prime Minister of Hungary and stand here, so will the border fence on the southern border.”

In his speech, Orban also attacked former Nazi asset, George Soros, calling him “a self-styled, dedicated and successful financier, who thinks himself superior,” adding, “thanks to our rotten luck, he is a Hungarian.”

“He has a plan, he wants one million migrants per year coming from foreign cultures, if necessary by force, against the will of the Europeans, to settle in Europe.”

Orban’s administration is under siege from what he calls the ‘Soros mafia network’ – which Orban said has issued a “declaration of war” on Hungary – as well as Brussels, who have initiated legal proceedings after Hungary, along with Poland and the Czech Republic, refused to accept migrant quotas.

Polish Crowd Chants ‘Donald Trump!’'USA! USA!'

The Polish crowd attending President Trump's speech in Warsaw repeatedly interrupted his remarks with chants of "Donald Trump!" and "USA! USA!"

At a wreath-laying ceremony in Krasinski Square, the excited crowd broke out into an American-style, "USA! USA! USA!" chant.

Later, during Trump's prepared remarks, the crowd repeatedly interrupted the speech with a "Donald Trump! Donald Trump!" chant.

"The story of Poland is the story of a people who have never lost hope, who have never been broken and who have never ever forgotten who they are," Trump said in Warsaw, before the crowd began chanting his name.

"Thank you so much, thank you," he replied. "Thank you so much. A great honor."

Trump also thanked Poland for being one of the only NATO members to fully honoring its financial commitment to the Western security alliance.

"That is also why we salute the Polish people for being one of the NATO countries that has actually achieved the benchmark for investment in our common defense," Trump said. "Thank you. Thank you Poland. I must tell you the example you set is truly magnificent and we applaud Poland."

Trump also said the United States remains firmly committed to honoring NATO's Article 5.

"To those who would criticize our tough stance" he's taken with asking NATO members to honor their financial commitments, Trump said, "I would point out that the United States has demonstrated not merely with words but with its actions that we stand firmly behind Article 5, the mutual defense commitment."

The old song from Mikado is right on about some people, Upper/Upper Middle Class Coasties are insulated from the downside of third world immigration and Islamic Immigration in particular, while reaping the benefits of low wages, stuffed rentals, and eliminating "sauciness" of the lower classes. I would call it flagellation of "old, evil racist and religious (Christian only) America".

That is why the Two Scoops Refugee Resettlement program requiring refugees to be resettled in communities where the median home price is over $300k and the schools are in the top 10% of the state is necessary.

Bethesda, MD, Manassas, VA and Orange County can afford the increased burden of housing and schooling immigrants, not Twin Falls, ID or Buffalo, NY.

Let the Neolib/con Coasties of affluent areas enjoy the diversity also. Not just rustbelt or rural communities. It'll be so culturally enriching when the group of Somali Teens walk Hannah Merriweather and Sarah Silverstein back through the Greenbelt Bike Trail from School! Nothing says experiencing different communities then driving past all the smoking Pakistani men hanging out in front of the new affordable housing just across from Willow Downs Estates, where luxury townhomes start from $500k, within minutes of the Riverwalk featuring Benihana and Banana Republic!

Remember, Diversity is good, just like beneficial Corn Sugar, which is harmless in moderation..

Polish politician unapologetic for ‘zero’ Muslim refugees: ‘We can be called Populists, Nationalists, Racists, I don’t care … Poland is safe’

When asked on British television how many Muslim refugees Poland has taken in, an unapologetic Tarczyński said, “Zero.”

This prompted the host to ask the vice president of the European Conservatives of the Council of Europe if he is “proud of that.”

Again, the politician did not waver, saying that Poland will not accept even one.

“This is the why Poland is so safe,” he explained. “This is the reason why we had not even one terrorist attack.”

European countries have taken in millions of Muslim refugees fleeing violence and poverty in the Middle East, resulting in citizens being slaughtered in the streets by radicalized Islamic extremists, but Poland has not seen such an attack.

And doesn’t plan to.

Polish MP: Our country is safe because we didn’t accept illegal Muslim migrants

Channel 4 host Cathy Newman asks Tarczyński “how many refugees Poland has taken,” Tarczyński says “zero”. When Newman asks him if he is proud of that, he says: “If you’re asking me about illegal Muslim migrants, not even one will come to Poland, if it’s illegal.”

The Polish MP explains how his country has accepted already 2 million Ukrainians who are working peacefully in the country. He adds that Poland will not receive even one Muslim, because that is what “we’ve promised”.

When Newman says it sounds like he’s proud of it and reminds him of accusations of racism, Tarczyński says:

“This is what our people expect from our government (…) this is why Poland is so safe, this is the reason why we had not even one terrorist attack”.

Czech PM: EU Must Turn Back Boats, Resettling Migrants Is ‘Road to Hell’

On Twitter, Babiš stressed that the bloc should follow Australia’s lead and turn back the boats, writing: “We must send a clear signal that illegal migration has ended and that the European Union is ready to return illegal immigrants immediately.”

Interior Minister Jan Hamáček said the government is offering Italy alternative forms of assistance including the possibility of sending border guards and experts to help push back migrants in North Africa.

“We must focus on the solution to the migrant crisis causes and the ways of halting the flow of illegal migrants, including the fight with their smugglers,” he told CTK. “We will not tackle the migrant crisis by keeping the door to Europe open to uncontrolled migration.”

The Czech Republic’s fellow Visegrád nation Hungary took a similar line, with Fidesz parliamentary spokesman István Hollik stating: “We will not be accepting anyone, as Hungarian voters made it clear at the last election that they do not want to live in a nation of immigrants.”

Describing the NGO boats ferrying migrants across the Mediterranean as “Soros ships”, in reference to open borders-backing globalist billionaire George Soros, Hollik added that “Hungarians reject the Soros plan”.

Hungary officially pulls out of UN migration pact as it ‘encourages migration’

It has become clear that differences between Hungary’s position on migration and the UN’s approach are irreconcilable, Szijjarto told a press conference.

“Hungary will maintain its position and no global package can change that”, he added.

“We see migration processes from a different perspective,” he said. The UN believes that migration is unavoidable, beneficial and should be supported, while Hungary considers it a danger to Hungary and Europe, he said, adding that the UN’s aim was to encourage migration whereas Hungary’s goal was to stop it.

The Global Compact for Migration includes some agreeable targets, such as taking action against human smugglers, but its effect will be contrary even to these, he said. A document that encourages migration will only benefit human smugglers because they can then convince more people to set off, telling them that they will be accepted in line with the global compact, Szijjarto said.

Hungary’s position is that it would be unnatural to change the population of the continent and global efforts should instead be made to stop migration, he said.

The migration compact includes certain obligations that Hungary would not be willing fulfil, such as organising training sessions for migrants before they set off and after they arrive, granting allowances to those send home remittances, enabling NGOs to help migrants submit complaints, increasing migrant reception capacities and viewing border crossing as a human rights issue instead of a security issue, he added.

Hungary has introduced “precisely contrary measures” in order to protect the security of citizens, Szijjarto said.
In response to a question, he said that considering that the US had not even participated in the talks on the Global Compact for Migration and several countries had expressed dissatisfaction at the end of talks, Hungary was unlikely to meet with any negative fallout as a result of its announcement.

That's an excellent photo because it describes Polish history in a nutshell.

"Pole" (pronounced with the final "e") literally means "field" in Polish. The country's name indicates its geography. Poland is very flat north of the Carpathians, and has historically been rolled over in both directions: Nazis from the west, Communists from the east.

They don't want to be either of those! They just want to be Polish.

Sucks to be Poland.
