I'm surprised CDMA tech is still alive. Last time I checked it was available in Canada, Korea and the US.

I decided a few years back to only buy factory unlocked phones. The stupidity of having to change your phone every time you change your plan is something I'll have no part of. But I digress. Verizon supports GSM phones as long as they have the bands in the phone used by the Verizon network. My wife uses PagePlus with an unlocked iPhone.
