Hillary Clinton thought she had driven a stake through it, but it turns out to be the issue that will not die: She voted to authorize the Iraq war, she refuses to say it was a mistake, and she refuses to apologize for it.

And Barack Obama continues to whack her for it.

Obama opposed the war early and was lucky enough to not yet be a senator when it first came up for a vote.

Again and again, he pressed this advantage Thursday night at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles in the first one-on-one debate between Obama and Clinton.

Obama exploits the issue in two ways: First, he says Clinton’s vote in favor of the war shows bad judgment.

“I was opposed to Iraq from the start,” Obama said, “and I say that not just to look backwards, but also to look forwards, because I think what the next president has to show is the kind of judgment that will ensure that we are using our military power wisely.”

Second, Obama says that his opposition to the war is something he can use against the Republicans in the fall.

I suppose her fuck up in Libya and Syria, helping ISIS grow by destabilizing Assad, and creating a refugee crisis mitigated her bad judgement in the Iraq Vote.

Recall that the Dems were being portrayed as weak on national defense at the time. Did Hillary sacrifice the lives of US servicemen and women as well as countless Iraqis to further her political career?

Did Bill fly back to Arkansas to execute a retarded black man in the 1992 campaign to signal how tough on crime he was, not like these wimps? "I'm not a pussy like Tsongas or Jerry Brown!" Or in 1996 he had his wife say "Superpredators... Bring them to Heel" to get the tough on crime vote? Did they use their 90s bully pulpit to encourage mass incarceration, loosen rules and assist expansion of private prisons, all the while slashing welfare? Can't seem wimpy! Gotta triangulate.

The Clintons and Blairs are Country Club Republican Entryists.

Rather than relentlessly bash the Clinton voters over the head with more Inconvenient Truths, we should extend them some sympathy. How would you feel, if you were so loyal to a phony political party, and said party took a big fat dump on your head?

Every.Last.Thing these people claimed tk stand for, or be against, is now being used against them, while the politically priviliged monied elite are laughing at them, all the way to the bank.

Don't believe me? Then disprove the notion. List any position that dem voters were for or against in 2008, and then see where Hillary stands on it. Not what her marketing team whispers in her ear for her to lie at her would be voters; rather what her actions and her financeers say about her true stances.

Healthcare?
Evil corporations?
Citizens United?
Money in politics in general?
War?
Wages?
Empowering labor?
Racism?

Give it a go. It's a very revealing thought exercise. And before you get the usual "yarg butt donald Drumpf is very mean, racist, and scary!!", everyone knows that. We're talking about Hillary here. Hard as it may be, for if only this one time, to discuss Hillary without bringing Trump into the conversation.
