My religion doesn't give points for sacrificing now. I'd say any that does is a false religion of man. God would never value the act of wasting the life He's given to you. Especially when so many never get the chance to live a full one.
All Religions are true because a man put if on stone tablets or wrote it on paper.
Of course nothing has ever been lost in translation.
God's doing better as time goes along. Joseph Smith got gold tablets to start a religion.
Naive,non-critical thinkers are easily brainwashed.
I'll be writing a few lines on UFOs & Bigfoot. That will bring them into existence.

All religions are false. There is no supernatural creator or guider of the universe. You don't have a soul, and there is no afterlife.
Acting on false assumptions causes bad decision makings. The more important the subject matter of the false assumptions, the worse the impact they have.

God does not exist. The word refers to millions of fictional characters. The Christian god is a fictional character that most certainly advocates murder and wasting life.
They fought against Midian, as the Lord commanded Moses, and killed every man
Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.
So kill every man and every boy -- cause men and boys aren't good for raping -- and kill every non-virgin woman including those eight months pregnant -- you know, cause women who had sex already aren't good for raping either, but young virgins including per-pubescent ones are very good for raping. Maybe you wait a few years, or maybe you take that eight-year-old right now. You know, cause close enough.
The fictional Christian god is evil and this is not surprising for he was written by vile, evil men who are exactly like modern day ISIS followers.

Ron Hubbard beat you to it and made tens of millions off of Scientology. But hey, at least he gave us Battlefield Earth.
There is not much difference between believing in an afterlife and believing in no afterlife. Both have a one lifetime concept. A truly different perspective is this: You do not only get this one shot. You do have a soul and you are an eternal being, at least as eternal as the universe itself.

Not true at all. There's a very big difference in how people live their lives and even whether or not they live their lives. From suicide bombers to people who forgo happiness in life for a false promise of bliss in an afterlife, that lie causes the wasting of life. And yes, this waste most certainly happens in Christianity today in the U.S.
A 12-year-old girl whose father died, takes her own life in order to see her father again.

saddest thing I've heard all day (well, actually second to hearing that nobody at Wells Fargo has been jailed... close second for sure though)
Aside from people crashing planes into buildings, bombing abortion clinics, committing genocide, etc. the lie of religion that you will live forever in an afterlife is really, really bad for the reason Adam gives while talking about death.

"[W]hile it's difficult to hear this truth, it is essential that you accept it because every second that goes by in which you don't is a second of your precious and finite life that you risk wasting."
Belief in an afterlife wastes the one real life you have. Chuck religion and superstitions and make the most of reality, however short your stay in existence is. For even a short life is incredible compared to not existing at all.
