To argue against using electric cars because some electricity is generated by polluting carbon fuel factories is like arguing again using a seat belt because it doesn't save every life. Yeah, you can still die in a car crash with a seat belt, but it's far less likely. Steps in the right direction are still worth taking even if the journey cannot be reduced to a single step.

Solar is really starting to be a viable alternative energy source. The old sort maybe got 10% of the solar energy, which was hardly worth putting them up. Now with the return in the 40-50% range for affordable panels, the energy generation is quite significant. I'm thinking of building a patio sun roof to do two things: 1)provide shade to part of the pool area and hot tub, 2) mount solar panels on it to power the house. Takes care of the problem that solar panels on your house can look kind of dumb. Maybe I'll mount a few on the back slope of the house roof.
My car is already part electric. Good enough for now.

Simply ban POVs and replace with Mass Transit. If POVs aren't banned, the road to renewable energy is orders of magnitude more difficult: At the same time one is trying to replace electricity generation with renewables, one is also trying to replace transportation with electric from renewables; increasing the demand while trying to entirely replace the existing supply.

Solving the energy problem is relatively easy if you ban POVs. If you don't, the problem is so large it's discouraging and unlikely to be fixed.

People want to believe they can convert to substantially renewable electric sources over the next century while increasing electric car POV use from 1% to 100% or more because for some reason, people jizz all over their cars. They like sitting in traffic and paying hundreds a month in additional expenses.

Banning POVs would also eliminate on the top causes of death and injury and lower public expenses (traffic control and infrastructure including meter maids and speed traps and cop salaries for vehicle/traffic enforcement, accident response, DMV maintenance) by a huge degree. Car chases and Drunk Driving would be a thing of the past.

Public transportation is so much more efficient, it would save hundreds of billions in both Public and Private expenses per year in the USA.

However, mass transit has problems like crime and lack of availability.

Replacing cars with privately owned self-driving maglifts would work. Think automated Uber. Those who don't want to buy can use the self-driving taxis. Those who don't want to share the interior can buy.

Maglifts would not only end pollution, but also traffic jams, drunk driving, the need for insurance, and vast amounts of waste land on parking and streets. They would provide all the benefits of mass transits and all the benefits of privately owned vehicles.

Personally, though, I don't see the advantages of using prostitutes. Every hooker I've seen on the nightly news or on the smoking gun has been ugly. The fantasy is Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman, but the reality seems completely different. I guess unless your using some real high end, and expensive, hooker. But why not just bang sluts? Sex with a typical 22-year-old costs three dinners at a nice restaurant. And there is no risk of legal repercussions and no 22-year-old is looking for a long-term relationship or marriage. You should try that route.

Once a guy hits 30, getting even young women is way easier. All you need is a good job, a nice car, and self-confidence. Unfortunately for them, most teenage boys and young men have none of those.
