Actually, and it pains me a bit to say it, the northern west coast is ridiculously beautiful. Like something out of a dream. I lived in Europe for 2 years and didn't see landscape as beautiful as this. LA does suck though. Smog so thick and yellow it's like a combination of shit and piss that you have to breathe.
