Trump campaign manager squabbles with Anderson Cooper over polls

“I think Hillary Clinton's been depressing Democratic turnout. My goodness. Why is this woman at 46 percent?” Conway said. “She's like the magic 46. She's 46 in the new NBC news/Wall Street Journal poll. She’s 46 percent in a lot of these swing states.”
“She’s ahead of your candidate, though,” Cooper interjected.

“Well, Anderson, she's running as the first female president who has a sitting president and first lady, much more popular than she'll ever be,” Conway replied before Cooper interrupted again to point out that “your candidate is below 40 percent.”

“Is that a question?” Conway asked, to which Cooper responded “well, you're saying 46% is bad, but 37% is worse.”

Poor confused thing. Is the #OrangeDoucheBag really paying her to point out on national news that she can't grasp why her candidate isn't losing by a greater margin than he is?

At the end of the election maybe she can brag that they lost but spent less doing it, and that that provides proof that they really won. They could spend even less if they just booted her and gave half her salary to Sarah Palin. That way they would "win" even more "bigly."

A Trump loss will spell doom for many republicans who crossed aisle.

this is the re-start that the Republican Party needs.

In your opinion what attributes will it emerge with?

not sure, but a party without so much emphasis on issues like abortion and "family values". Trump didn't really campaign on that and many of those religious right cohort crossed aisle to endorse hillary. Or at least refused to endorse trump.

Agreed, I think that despite a loss the non-mainstream Republicans will continue to lose ground. This shake-up is also needed badly for the Democrats who need to get rid of their soviet-style politbureau-style party organization and abandon cultural-marxism. Maybe also a third party or two will merge and voters could get excited again.

That surely can be said of the Mormans. The #DoucheBag is tied in Utah with the Scarlett Whore. But more mainstream evangelicals are keen to bestow forgiveness even though his contrition is so clearly faked. My question is more interested in whether the surviving GOP will extend the breitbart cesspool or retreat to a moderated libertarian pragmatism free of howling conspiracies or suffer the reality of demography while holding on to traditional GOP ideology. It seems those three elements cannot live together in the party any longer.
