zzyzzx is deplorable says

Street interviewer asks if quote is from Hillary or Hitler

Too bad he's making up shit. There are plenty of reasons to vote against Hillary. You don't need to make up lies.

Claim: Hillary Clinton said children should be raised and trained by the state, and parents should have only a secondary role.
FALSE

Clinton’s high-profile book does not include this quote.

Clinton’s 1996 book caused controversy among some critics who saw her as arguing that society, not parents, were responsible for raising children. This meme seems to stem from that belief.

In any case, we searched the text of her volume on Google Books and searched for this quote on Google and Lexis-Nexis and failed to find it.

When will people realize that it's trivial to expose people who are repeating debunked lies in the information age? You have all of mankind's knowledge at your fingertips and it's all index and handed to you on a silver platter. Yet, stupid lies continue to be the go to tool of all propagandists.

Vote against Hillary, but do so for valid reasons, not made up shit.

By the way, this is the first time I'm hearing this particular lie, and I found out it was bullshit in less than ten seconds. That's how easy it is to confirm whether a statement is truthful or not.

This was done with Trump first.

This statement by Senator Hillary Clinton was not (as commonly assumed) addressed to the general public, but rather to a group of relatively well-to-do Democrats attending a June 2004 fundraiser for California senator Barbara Boxer. Her statement specifically referred to a desire to repeal tax cuts that had recently been enacted by the Bush administration, cuts which many Democrats had criticized as favoring the wealthy:

Headlining an appearance with other Democratic women senators on behalf of Sen. Barbara Boxer, who is up for re-election this year, Hillary Clinton told several hundred supporters — some of whom had ponied up as much as $10,000 to attend — to expect to lose some of the tax cuts passed by President Bush if Democrats win the White House and control of Congress.

"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

The reason they asked was it Hillary or Hitler, instead of HIllary or Marx ? PRobably becasue of some sort of "I know you are but what am I."

And that's the problem with American politics. People like things that confirm their position regardless of the truth, and don't like the truth if it contradicts one of their talking points.

No wonder we have such terrible candidates.
