It's a very bad business move for CNN to not get out in front of this. This is a classic mistake of companies that are caught red-handed. The may acknowledge the problem internally, but because of Wiki's acting as a Sunshine Law champion, CNN has been exposed as a co-opted media arm of a political party, and to have actively participated in debate fraud, and to be spinning stories to favor one political party over the other.
Can CNN talking heads who have been shown to spin favorable stories be banned from acting as journalists? Do standards of journalistic integrity exist at all anymore?
If CNN is seen to be a fraud by a significant number of the viewing public, and if they mismanage this scandal and their numbers drop, they may never recover. In today's fast moving information markets, you can't fuck up like this.
Over the past several weeks DNC Chair Donna Brazile has been pummeled in the media after Podesta's emails revealed that she provided a debate question to Hillary in advance of a March 13, 2016 debate with Bernie Sanders.
Now, the latest WikiLeaks dump reveals that it wasn't just a one-off thing. The following email from Brazile, sent one day prior to a March 6th debate with Bernie, shows yet another occasion of her providing an advanced peak at debate questions to the Hillary campaign. We can't imagine that Bernie supporters are very happy that this is the person chosen to takeover the leadership position at the DNC after Schultz was pushed out for showing favoritism toward the Clinton campaign.
