“I’ve done nothing wrong,” James said. “We operated the business legally and in compliance with all California and local laws.”

The problem is that he is not in compliance with federal laws, and they count to. The state laws and the federal laws conflict each other. The proper way to handle this is in the court system, not by having armed thugs raid and pillage. Since this is both a federal and state issue, both governments should be represented in federal court. The federal government should have to prove its case that its laws supersede the state's laws in this matter before the federal government can prosecute individuals.

The state should be free to argue that it has given the right to its citizens to use and to sell marijuana, and the federal government cannot infringe upon the rights of citizens granted by the state. Whether or not the court agrees should not prevent the state from making this case.

This problem is the same as laws passed by states to grant other "rights" including so-called "religious freedom rights" and gun rights.

It is clearly wrong to force individuals to bear the brunt of the inability of state governments and the federal government to work out their differences. And all those participating in the ordering, preparing, or execution of the raid or the possession of property seized by the raid, should be arrested and prosecuted for burglary, robbery, wrongful arrest, use of firearms to commit crimes, terrorist threats, endangering the lives of others, and conspiracy to commit multiple crimes. Such criminal behavior should not be tolerated, and quite frankly, the state of California should have sent in its police to stop the raid and arrest the criminals conducting the raid. The state of California should also put a moratorium on all federal raids and seizures of property until this conflict has been resolved in the court, and should enforce that ban at gunpoint.

Of course, that will never happen because states' rights are bullshit.

Any Rep/Con/Tea that lives in a state with any legal form of the killer weed
should be executed on sight by militarized LEOs.
They should confiscate all property of the bleeding & dying Rep/Con/Tea.
Sins of the father; place their minor children in work camps for life.

Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one.

Has Trump arrested the bankers, paid off the debt, reduced the regulations, decreased taxes, kicked out the illegal aliens, ended the Fed, ended the wars, ended welfare, ended Obamacare, and restored the Bill of Rights?
