Hard-won reductions in the environmental toxin could be erased if Trump proceeds with plans to resuscitate the coal industry and abandon climate initiatives

I quit eating tuna. I don't like coal either. Who wants to be polluted like those poor people in southern Indiana, Pence's proudest moments.

How is coal production related to tuna?

Is coal even relevant if one only eats sushi?

Coal has a lot of mercury and other metals in it. When burned, the metals vaporize and some of it makes it's way into the water. It then makes its way into plants and fish. It accumulates in the fat of big predator fish like tuna. Don't eat a lot of tuna if you care about your health.
