Hardcore porn played at funeral by accident – and it took 4 minutes to turn it off
The clip was played by accident during the service for Simon Lewis, 33, and his baby son, also called Simon, who were both killed in a car crash on New Year’s Eve.
One of the people at the funeral said it took nearly four minutes for the porn to be turned off at Thornhill Crematorium, Cardiff, adding to the family’s anguish.
After the collision, Simon’s wife had an emergency caesarean section over concerns that Simon jnr was in distress. Sadly he died shortly after being delivered.
The pornography was played on a large screen instead of a video tribute to Simon.
Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe, who led the funeral service, said: ‘I remember looking up at the screen and seeing some type of video came on and a very loud noise.
‘I look at my congregations instead of the TV screen, but when I heard this noise and members of the congregation moving towards the screen, I realized something was wrong.
