After all, Christmas was never about Christ and Christians just inserted that false god into the festivities.

They tried that in the 70's everywhere you saw Christmas in advertiser print it was "Merry Xmas".

That lasted bout 5 or 10 years, then people started pushing back and the stores were writing Merry Christmas again.
This last time it was an all out Outlawing of the word Christmas.

You fucks are just going to have to get used to it. We've seen how you asshole really don't mind chumming up to religious zealots.
You chummed up quite nicely with the Muslim extremists and partnered with ISIS to overthrow most of the middle East.

Merry Christmas you shitbirds.

Why? Christmas is fun. Sure it's based on mythology, but all i need is an excuse to party.

That was deliberate, just like Easter. It was the purpose of the Christians to co-opt pagan holidays, cleaning them up and making them useful, figuratively poking a stick in the eye of paganism.

Your really are ignorant aren't you. Xmas isn't taking the "Christ" out of Christmas, it's just a shorthand that's been in use for centuries.

I had a great pagan winter bacchanalia with my family. Spent tons of times playing with my niece and giving her airplane rides.

Turns out, you don't need some fake ass god to have a good time celebrating life with family.

That's not what this thread is about, and clearly you haven't learned anything from the video. America's attitude towards Christmas already has changed twice. First from banning it to embracing it. Second to commercializing it. There's no reason it can't change a third time to completely secularizing it. We're half way there already.

Midnight sales and brawls at WalMart can not compete with Peace on Earth and reverence the birth of baby Jesus.
You can't even take Christ out of Santa even if you tried.

Santa from Classical Latin sanctus, holy: see saint

Peace on Earth

Peace on Earth has been advanced by science, not your false religion.

reverence the birth of baby Jesus.

Honey, Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. And as for reverence.

Sane people only become religious as children. This is the strongest proof how stupid religion is. It also means that without population growth, the fraction of religious people will decline.

Aren't you afraid that crazy fundamentalist Christians will find out who you are, come over to your house wearing hoods, hold up one finger quoting the scriptures, and slowly saw your head off?

Oh wait...

Sorry, never mind. Wrong religion. My bad.
