Penthouse may need more than a $million for the number of tapes that might suddenly appear.

Funny. Republicans hate Obama for the miserable failure of Obamacare, the increase in racial tensions and foreign policy.

Dem's hate Trump for... well, no real reason. First he was a racist, misogynist, xenophobic pig. Then he was more or less a Russian plant and lapdog for Putin. Now they are trying to dig up dirt for an alleged orgy or sexual bullshit (hey dem's, what about billy clinton?).

At least the right has a legitimate reason to hate Obama, while the left continues to make up shit and grasp at straws.

Wait-so you're equating someone who facilitates bankruptcies for people who need them to:

A businessman who prides himself on "winning" and being super successful that somehow had to declare bankruptcy 3 times? You don't see the difference here?

Not to mention needing his Daddy to come to his casino and buy $3MM worth of chips to keep him from declaring personal bankruptcy.

Out of what, 500 enterprises? He should be getting paid $5M to teach one course at Wharton or Harvard in fiscal management.

"Out of what, 500 enterprises? He should be getting paid $5M to teach one course at Wharton or Harvard in fiscal management."

lol-if you say so. His only foray into education is being investigated by the New York AG so I think I'll pass.

Sounds like you're just jealous!

You really help illustrate my original point perfectly.

7   joeyjojojunior   2017 Jan 11, 11:38am

"LOL.. Ethics and morals? Dem's know nothing of the sort. Come on."

Nope. We're talking about his lack of business skills.

Nope. We're talking about his lack of business skills.

Well, that motherfucker, with shitty business skills, flies around in a 757.

While you, with your kick ass business skills, may ride coach a few times per year.

Which brings me back to my original point:

joshuatrio says

Dem's hate Trump for... well, no real reason.

I'm going to change my tune a little bit and say maybe Dem's just hate Trump because they are jealous.

9   joeyjojojunior   2017 Jan 11, 11:59am

"You really help illustrate my original point perfectly."

Was your point that Trump was a thin skinned, narcissistic, buffoon that is only relevant because he won the birth lottery then yes, I agree.

Really, what's with all the name calling? That's a common trend among all liberals.

"Thin skinned, narcissistic, buffoon" --- I'm waiting on the racists, misogynistic, xenophobic line next.

My point was that you have no real reason to hate him as much as you do. You just don't like him.

joeyjojojunior says

Yep, all trust fund babies do.

Again, it sounds like you're jealous. You keep making reference to his financial status.

If I had the means to give my kid a few million to get him started - I'd do it in a heartbeat. Wouldn't you?

12   joeyjojojunior   2017 Jan 11, 12:13pm

"My point was that you have no real reason to hate him as much as you do. You just don't like him."

Let me try again. He's thin-skinned which is a very bad trait for someone who is leading the free world. In such a position of power, there will be lots of people taking pot-shots at him and he has to have the temperament to ignore them so he can focus on the important stuff. His tax plan is the worst put forth since Reagan and will lead to higher inequality, higher US debts, and a US recession. His cabinet picks have been a collection of industry lackeys that will give a first hand account of what "the fox guarding the henhouse" means. He his appointing an anti-vaxxer to lead his vaccine safety program. He is collecting anti-science folks in his inner circle. I can go on--shall I?

"Again, it sounds like you're jealous. You keep making reference to his financial status. If I had the means to give my kid a few million to get him started - I'd do it in a heartbeat. Wouldn't you?"

You really need to listen a bit harder then. I'm saying that one of his main assets, according to his fans is that he is a very successful businessman. Truth is that he inherited $250MM+ and would actually be worth more now had he simply invested that money in the S&P 500 index fund instead of building hotels and golf courses.

Right. And Obama has been a doormat.

joeyjojojunior says

He's actually doing both quite well. He's accomplished more than Obama in the last month, than Obama did in 8 years.

joeyjojojunior says

His tax plan is the worst put forth since Reagan and will lead to higher inequality, higher US debts, and a US recession.

Ummmmm. How has that so-called national debt done under Obama?

joeyjojojunior says

He his appointing an anti-vaxxer to lead his vaccine safety program.

There are a lot of issues with how vaccines are pushed. This may bring a little balance into the equation. We'll see.

For the record: I'm not an anti-vaxxer, but a selective vaxxer with my children. I personally know of 2 families who's children have suffered from vaccine related injuries - one of which who is full blow autistic now. The mother is a paramedic (fwiw).

Ok, so you're saying that he should have put all his money in the market, and watch it grow?

OR

Build a business worth several billion (which he can always sell), and employ thousands of people.

You got my attention now.

And can you provide a source for that $250 million dollar loan from his dad? That's by far, the HIGHEST estimate I've heard - with the lowest being 1mm.

The amount varies drastically by article - and I highly doubt you know how much he inherited. Either way, so what? He has what he has - instead of being jealous, just accept it.

To someone running on the credentials of a "great businessman" both matter.

20   RealEstateIsBetterThanStocks   2017 Jan 11, 11:21pm

that would be a problem with "ethics" not "judgement."

5/6 of his bankruptcies are due to his failing casinos in Atlantic city. this is due to increasing competitions as more states legalized gambling making Atlantic obsolete.

And he would have filed a personal bankruptcy too if Daddy hadn't walked into one of his casino's, purchased $3MM in chips, and then gone home without playing them.

You're incredibly jealous. Wow.

Like I said before. If my kid had a business and I had the means to help him out, I'd do it. Wouldn't you?

These guys are in business to make money, not lose money. They do this legally. So you're gonna have to get over it at some point.

lol. Jealous no. Rational, yes. I choose not to admire someone who best accomplishment was getting born into a rich family.

Of course I'd help my kid. How is that remotely relevant? I'm not knocking Dad for helping. I'm knocking Donald for being an idiot and losing hundreds of millions of $$

Yet, here you are, still ranting and raving about how he was born into money, and dad helped him out.

Taking a million dollar loan from dad, and building a company worth several billion dollar company is a pretty damn good accomplishment if you ask me.

Where's the link for a $250 million dollar loan?

joeyjojojunior says

It's relevant, because you hate the fact that he was born into a rich family, was given some change from his dad to get started, and actually did something with his life.

Even if he took a loss at some point (which most businesses do go through ups and downs), what's the big deal?

It was his inheritance, not a loan. But, in reality, Daddy's help was really more in getting Donald all he loans/financing he needed. Banks would never have loaned him so much money if Dad didn't intervene.

Why do you keep injecting emotion into this conversation? I don't hate him. And I certainly don't hate him for being born into a rich family.

What I dislike is folks like you or Ironman implying he is some sort of wonderful businessman. And this qualifies him for being President.

29   joeyjojojunior   2017 Jan 12, 7:55am

"Hey Joey, have you done that same thing?"

Give me $250MM and let's find out.

"No. it's a BUSINESS decision (something you know NOTHING about). He decided to cut his losses and get out of the shit hole AC, run by the asshole Dems."

It was a business decision required because of his poor judgment.

30   joeyjojojunior   2017 Jan 12, 8:19am

"Yes, how could Trump know the Dem leadership in AC would run the city right down the sewer. Doesn't Trump have a crystal ball or a time machine??"

Isn't that his job? To forecast future earnings? To develop best case, most probable case, worst case projections? Otherwise, what the hell is he doing?

Indian Reservations are Federal. It was the Foxwoods casino of the Pequot Tribe in Connecticut. Nobody expected them to be allowed to host anything other than Bingo games, it was a huge shock when they jumped through all the hurdles. They ended up getting permission and built the biggest casino complex in the world.

You would do well in government work. Never at fault, everyone else is always wrong, and somebody should predicted the future.

Sounds to me like Trump's worst case projection was to cut losses. That was probably a GOOD business decision. Unless you like to bleed cash.

You weren't listening well then. His worst case scenario was being homeless on the streets. He only avoided that because Daddy bought $$millions of casino chips. Otherwise he would have had to declare personal bankruptcy.

"Wait, doesn't every businessman turn a few millions into BILLIONS?"

Nope, and neither did Trump. His businesses returned less than the S&P 500 over the same time period.

35   joeyjojojunior   2017 Jan 12, 10:48am

Mother of god. Let it go. He was never homeless, he was given money, he invested it in his business and has done well for himself.

Whether or not his dad bought casino chips to float him through - so what?

You are one sad, jealous individual.

I highly doubt the entire "Trump empire" would have collapsed if his dad had not purchased 3 million in chips. Perhaps one casino, or one branch of his business - but not the entire thing.

I've asked you three times for a link/article showing that his dad gave/loaned him $250million to get started. I'd also like a link/source where his dad bailed him out for 3 million. I never heard the chip story.

So now I have to be your google slave? I promise you there are tens if not hundreds of stories detailing this tale. Just put Trump bankruptcy or Trump's dad buying casino chips or anything remotely close to that. Here's a screen shot.
