Apparently, everybody who knew McCain in the day were glad when he was captured, and pissed off when he was released. Some surmised they paid the Vietcong to capture him.

Apparently McCain's sense of entitlement was legion, and would have made the Queen blush. Fragging attempts failed, so they let the Vietcong take them out of their misery.
The Vietcong used McCain to torture the other prisoners with his personality.

McCain, all who serve currently, or have served, and have a few brain cells to rub together would recognize completely disgraceful speech about POWs when they hear it.
Trump has never risked, for anything dearly, in his life. He stands for nothing.
