The real take away from the news conference:

Trump conducts his own sting operation to ensnare intelligence briefers – and says he caught them leaking

* President-elect Donald Trump described a sting operation he says he conducted after growing frustrated at a series of leaks about his own classified briefings
* He says he decided to tell no one about a particular briefing, shielding even his longtime scheduling aide, Rhoda, to rule out the possibility leaks were coming from his staff
* When word got out anyway, Trump concluded it was the intelligence community who was putting out information
* He described the operation he conducted after suggesting intelligence officials leaked a fake dirty dossier of information about him

By the way, the last time a journalist, a guy named Munro, shouted a question at the (current) President, the Media was all indignant over the lese-majeste.

Now, they're like "Acosta is a hero for shouting a question at the President-Elect!"

The contrast between the Daily News and NYT article is impressive.

Here's the NYT, spot the addition of opinionated adjectives:

He deemed BuzzFeed News “a failing pile of garbage,” mocked an inquiry about his tax returns — “Gee, I’ve never heard that one before” — and, in an unheard-of moment for a presidential news conference, shouted at a CNN reporter, declaring, with some menace, “Not you.”

“Your organization is terrible,” said President-elect Donald J. Trump, his voice rising as CNN’s Jim Acosta tried to interject. “No, I’m not going to give you a question. I’m not going to give you a question.”

“You,” the president-elect said, as Mr. Acosta and other stunned journalists looked on, “are fake news.”

More from the NY Slimes:

Any hope that Mr. Trump would temper his attacks on the news media after the campaign seemed to evaporate in the marble atrium of Trump Tower on Wednesday, as the president-elect, holding his first news conference since July, turned a scandal about his ties to Russia into a deft and unrelenting attack on the journalists who reported it.

What scandal? Does the NYT believe that Dodgy Dossier is valid?

Mr. Trump’s stonewalling of CNN — a routine target of the president-elect and his supporters — stemmed from a report by the network that intelligence officials had briefed President Obama and Mr. Trump on a document alleging ties between the Russian government and Mr. Trump’s campaign.

No, it stems from CNN's reporting on the Dodge Dossier that multiple outlets rejected as ridiculous and unverifiable including David Corn of Mother Jones, of all fucking people.

But where is the proof?

Trump is definitely doing the US a great service by clarifying the bias in the US legacy media. Thank god foreign media still exists so we can do some comparisons.

And good lord, are our own intelligence agencies are conspiring against the president? Yet more hypocrisy.

'Conspiring'? Really? I think the president has been warned multiple times, in multiple briefings, and then on no substance Trump publicly criticized intelligence professionals who know far more than he about most things, just because he doesn't want to agree with them. Trump is starting to find out he is bigly outclassed by so so many.

The CIA is fast becoming my most beloved branch of the government. Pissgate is just the beginning.

It doesn't matter what is credible here. Look at all of us talking about the President Elect being into waterworks. Comedy gold ...enshowers. Damage done.

Remember, our country has people who believe Pizzagate. Pissgate is far easier to believe, I think.

Post-truth era ... post truth-era.

Yes, he showed the bias against Clinton in the last election very well. It's been documented several times actually.

What Trump has actually shown is the human nature towards believing whatever "news" confirms one's point of view. Like Patrick believing that the media is biased against Trump.

Well, at least CNN is in this particular situation.

Word is and there's been a lot of words to the effect, that Obama fired most capable Male Senior analyst and advisors and replaced them SJWs.
The gamut runs from Transgendered morons, to Whiggers that identifies as BLM demonstrators, and Liberal Arts majors and Race baiters.
They do not collect intel to keep America safe, they were Obama's personal domestic Spy apparatus.

Trumps first move should be to replace every single person in the Homeland security, NSA, CIA, and the department of Justice.
Or at least the agenda hires from Obama. He needs to weed out the ineptitude in our Agencies. These people are incapable of performing the function to protect America.
They actually hate us all. Every last one of us.

I'm not surprised - the stakes are sky high.

Oh, it matters. We just went through months of whinging about 'fake news' and a media gang-up on Trump. Now the Intelligence Industry is moving against the President-Elect.

The Media is not elected and not accountable directly to the public. Many, including a great number of Progressives, have been complaining for years, correctly, about the concentration of Media into the hands of a few wealthy interests.

Countering the delegitimization campaign of the Yellow Oligarch Media is a matter of great concern. Pointing out their tendentious reporting is key.

However, the good news is that most media outlets refused to run the story when it was first circulated weeks ago, but that didn't stop them from piling on after Buzzfeed took the lead, thinking that "unverified" made it newsworthy.

This was a win for Trump.
