Ah, where to start. Bernie Sanders? Is there a younger candidate that is not all wrapped up in identity-bullshit-politcs that can pick up the baton from Sanders? Is Elizabeth Warren principled enough and man enough to do it?

I wish the Democratic Party would acknowledge a need to fix itself. Unfortunately, the DNC depends on financing from corporate and Saudi sponsors, and other establishment sources. (Establishment pols vote to fund "non-profit" entities that funnel $$$ back to political campaigns, etc.) As a result, what remains of the party leadership is rallying around funding sources, including Obamneycare and Islam, even though those have caused a series of electoral defeats going back to 2010. Democrats can't have that conversation, because it would require admitting mistakes. Instead, they blame the Russians for telling voters what DNC operatives were actually saying.

I think a good starting point would be to stop calling everyone that disagrees with them a racist.

Sadly, Probably not. The Democratic Team's Farm System is weak, and over the past few years they've lost a huge number of legislators/governorships/major officials on all levels of the Federal and State governments.

The Pool of Eligible national candidates and leaders is on par with the Japanese Aging Demographics, too.

The Democrat lineup in 2018 and 2020 will be the likes of Romney, Gram, Kaisich and the other RINOs.
