AWS will get plenty of competition from Google, Digital Ocean, and Azure on the corporate/government side. In retail, Amazon is a huge beneficiary of Obamacare as it's become the Uber for delivering packages. Both Google and Cortana are better than Alexa. Kindle devices are cheap pieces of shit (no longer buy them). Fire TV is great.

Not even close. Shitty interface, loooooooong shipping with shitty tracking, vendors taking their sweet time responding to a complaint (can be literally weeks). And the prices are not as rock-bottom as they used to be. In fact, same shit can be bought on eBay sometimes significantly cheaper than directly from AliExpress. They are probably OK as a way for small re-sellers to buy batches of China-made shit to resell in the US, but as an end-user I'm not a fan.
