More and more these incidents seem to be happening. Earlier today there was the report of the politician saying he doesn't have to be PC any more and then he proceded to grab a woman by the crotch.

Now this.

I expect tons more exaggeration and hyperventilation as the forces of PC tyrrany find themselves impotent to influence anything with their discredited accusations.

People just are not going to put up with that shit anymore. Hugh Mungus showed us the path to liberation: calm and pleasant mockery.

You may be right. But then remember, fully half of the country is below average intelligence. Many of them are very confused about what not being PC means. Such as my examples above.

I'm not an SJW, and I understand the problem with identity politics - paying to much attention to the needs of specific groups rather than important economic or social issues that are important to us all.

I also understand the problem with some college kids these days. Comedians don't even want to perform at colleges becasue of all of the triggering and safe space nonsense.

But having said that, I think most of that nonsense is self correcting and in my day to day life I don't and have not seen excessive political correctness. But then I'm not in San Francisco. What it comes down to is that I am more tolerant of political correctness than you are I guess, becasue most of the time I am not looking for it nor do I see it at all. I sometimes say things that overly PC students could take issue with, and I haven't had major problems as yet.

Fake news is not political correctness. And abject terror about Trump being President is not political correctness either. Political correctness is not the main reason Trump was elected. Common decency, honesty, and respect for facts and science are also not political correctness.

Decades of propaganda and of cultivating a dishonest narrative and a disintegration of our ability to have honest debates about issues is the reason Trump was elected.

see, even you are capable of being reasonable once in a while.marcus says

no it's not; it's a rebellion against the lying by omission that often happens with 'real news', often in effort to be PC.
