The Problem with NATO is the countries we formed that agreement with no longer exist. And it has never been renegotiated to account for all of the EU NGO world political influence.

Let the World Bank, EU and the other Limousine Globalist elite support NATO.

From everything I've read of relatively objective analysis, the consensus seems to be that NAFTA was net moderately good for the U.S..

OF the negatives and positives you have to ask to what extent would these have occurred without NAFTA.

WTF NATO has to do with NAFTA?

Did you listen to the speech? He said he felt like he was building on the framework that started in 1949 that was NATO.

Many NATO members, including Germany, don't spend the 2% of GDP on the military as "Suggested".

Here's the deal: The Europeans are wimps who want us to be the fall guy for everything, just like Israel takes the political hits for bombing nuclear reactors in Iraq and Syria. They also love that we pay to defend them, and they can spend the difference on R&D, Education, Infrastructure, and Social Programs, thereby outcompeting our companies. Neocon and Neoliberal buttinskies like it because they get influence in Europe and an excuse for big spending to spend our national defense on everybody's elses defense.

The US goes around the Middle East keeping the Oil safe while NATO isn't obligated to help or spend money or blood, and can sit back and play backseat driver to us.

Russia actually liked old NATO, they liked having UK, France, and the US in Germany, keeping an eye on the Krauts. They don't want NATO right up against their grill, which it will be if Ukraine joins.

The Europeans don't like Trump's hardball about NATO pivoting to Wahabi-backed Terror, because then they might have to A) Spend more of their own money and B) Participate and get their own hands dirty.

Remember, you start with an extreme position (get rid of NATO), and end up at your ideal - Europeans pay and participate more.

NAFTA turned out exactly as I expected. Only a total moron would have expected anything else.

Of course not. Nobody does - reading title is enough.
