Donald Trump and US congress scrap rule that forced people not to dump coal mining debris into drinking water
Republican politicians have scrapped a rule that stopped coal mining companies dumping their debris into people's drinking water.
The decision came alongside the scrapping of another rule that enforced extended background checks for gun purchases by some Social Security recipients with mental disabilities.
Donald Trump supports both measures and will sign both of them, the White House said.
The coal mining rule was introduced in December by the Interior Department, which said that it would protect 6,000 miles of streams and 52,000 acres of forests, preventing coal mining debris from being dumped into nearby waters. But Republican politicians in Congress claimed that it would also do away with thousands of coal-related jobs and was unnecessary, and so decided to scrap it.

This afternoon President Donald Trump issued a widely anticipated executive order directing a sweeping review of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act regulations that, among other things, imposed burdensome rules on incentive compensation programs offered by financial institutions. Spokespersons were quoted as saying the administration is looking at making an immediate impact through administrative changes and personnel decisions.
President Trump also issued a separate memorandum directing the Department of Labor (DOL) to undertake a complete review of the new fiduciary rules applicable to financial advisors. Specifically, the president requested an examination of whether the rules would (i) reduce investor access to “certain retirement savings offerings,†(ii) result in “dislocations or disruptions within the retirement services industry,†and (iii) be “likely to cause an increase in litigation [and an] increase in prices that investors and retirees must pay to gain access to retirement services.†The order was generally expected to direct a postponement of the compliance date of the new DOL fiduciary rule, which is scheduled to become applicable beginning in April. It remains to be seen how the DOL will implement this directive and whether it will result in such a postponement. The DOL acting secretary has indicated that the DOL will now consider its legal options to delay the compliance date."

We all knew that CIC is a closeted homosexual given his obsession with renouncing everything gay even on threads that have nothing to do with homosexuality, but this new insight explains a lot.
3 Executive Orders signed by Trump in just the 1st 16 days of his presidency that prove HE’S STANDING UP FOR THE AVERAGE ‘MERICAN:
1) Allowing mining companies to dump untreated, uncaptured toxic waste directly into streams and tributaries,
2) Exempting oil companies from having to report the bribes receive from third-world dictators and other foreign despots, and
3) Stripping a fiduciary rule (as part of Dodd-Frank) that obligated financial advisors to act in their customers’ best interests.
