At what point can we give up and treat trans people

I've read about and seen an Information Discovery about this bizarre thing--a wealthy man in his late 80's paid a younger man, a quack, to cut off his leg. He botched the job, not surprisingly, and the "patient" was found dead in his expensive hotel room several days later from massive bleeding. How he ever lived into his 80's is a miracle in itself, but people who are this mentally screwed up probably can't be helped. People today are loath to say someone else is simply crazy for fear of being judgmental.

Seriously. One need look no further than Trump for an example.

Let them push wheelchairs like Volstad - in Shriner's hospitals for burned kids.

They can trade up feeling like frauds for feeling genuinely useful. The physical toll of caring for burned kids on nursing and physical therapy staffs is considerable and a bunch of frauds willing to help would make a virtue of a psychological anomaly.

This is quite possibly the most humanitarian thing you've ever posted! Dang!
