How can I get in on public funding? Can anyone who wants to declare themselves a candidate do so, and use the money to pay for promotional events and parties? Is there any rule preventing 200M+ Americans above voting age to declare themselves candidates and get free public funding?

Can we start by kicking this asshole out of office? $3.3million by Democrat "committees" is outrage enough, but judging by the 3 Al Muratsuchi commercials PER COMMERCIAL BREAK starting six months before the election, there was at least 10 million in soft money spent.

Oh. So it is kind of like having another primary before the regular primary. Now, how do potential candidates raise money to pay for the costly process of collecting signatures, a necessity in order to get public money for the primary and then later for the real election?

If we really want freedom we need to do the opposite. Defund the feds, watch it collapse, then establish a new government based on the much more decentralized Federalist Papers.

Dunno. The point of the proposal is mostly to ensure that voices without massive corporate money behind them also get heard.
