Emails released to The Indianapolis Star in response to a public records request show Pence communicated via his personal AOL account with top advisers on topics ranging from security gates at the governor’s residence to the state’s response to terror attacks across the globe. In one email, Pence’s top state homeland security adviser relayed an update from the FBI regarding the arrests of several men on federal terror-related charges.

In fact, Pence's personal account was hacked last summer.

The difference is that his emails were following Indiana law regarding email use and retention.

one violates the laws as Comey concluded but refused to prosecute, the other didn't:

"Indiana law does not prohibit public officials from using personal email accounts"

also two different levels of security classifications entirely. this is shit news.

Also, the Governor of a state is not responsible for foreign policy or national defense. The Secretary of state is the lead person responsible for the former, which impacts the latter.

Speaking of which, when is the DNC and Podesta turning over their devices to the FBI so they can do proper forensics to help determine the "Extent of Evil Putler Hacking". I mean to the FBI, not handing them a report from a contractor they hired and paid.
