This is the opening salvo of a Huffington post article written by Shelly Garland, who wait for it.. is a philosophy student. As if we do not have enough academics telling us what our money should look like, how negative rates are good, and that trucks kill people, not terrorists. Now we have a post Gloria Steinem feminazi using seemingly innocuous words to make things fair. Here is the part that is just ridiculousto

Mental masturbation: there is no fucking way she and hers could win a civil war against white males. For variety of obvious reasons.

It is much easier to simply steal from white men than to actually go out and create useful goods and services like white men do. Or like Asian men do, of course, but somehow they are always quietly left out, and I'm sure they like it that way.

There are no legal or practical restrictions on anyone by race or gender anymore.

Now if you want to argue about non-productive rent-seeking, sure, I'm all for taxing that highly, but it has nothing to do with race or voting.

Typical liberal: takes a point of correlation (most rich people are white men) and assumes their race is the problem that must be corrected. No mention need be made of laws that secure unreasonable patent laws or legal theft of property or insane rent seeking by the wealthy. Nope, it's just more hate on white men.
How fucking original.

This is what happens when you let Huffingtonpost's most brilliant writer axe you a question.

I agree that it's racist and stupid, especially if you assume she seriously believes her proposal stands a better than zero chance of happening. On the other hand she may be right.

Not right that white men should be denied the vote, but right that the U.S. would be better off if they were denied the vote for the next 20 years.

Just saying, I think that criticism of her essay (which I didn't even read) should be based on arguing that, (sort of a thought experiment) rather than the assumption that she is seriously proposing it.

where white males own a disproportionate amount of wealth.

Aren't most of those men married? So wouldn't that mean that white females also own a disproportionate amount of wealth and that redistribution of that wealth necessitates impoverishing white women?

"white males own a disproportionate amount of wealth" And created it. Gloria Steinem is worth $3 million. That is disproportionate to me.

Imagine if somebody said "Disenfranchise all the Armenians/Indians/Jews for 20 years."

The Editor would fly to an apology, grovelling and simpering in misery, she would have been fired hours after the piece was released.

Anti-White racism is a thing, esp. combined with Male, and it's tolerated when it wouldn't be for any other race (or gender)

She would be fired even for saying they have nappy hair.
