Could "DIVIDE AND CONQUER" be the strategy?

It sure seems to be working. Especially on PATNET. Keep the common folk fighting amongst themselves and eliminate the possibility of them ever uniting.

Uniting with idiots is not an effective strategy, but yes the whole cowboy vs hippie thing must stop.

I'm here on Patnet not to agree with everyone, but to disagree as much as possible.
Agreeing with everyone is so boring.

Agreeing or disagreeing is not a virtue when one is wrong all the time.

Yes divide and conquer up to the advent of Trump's ascent.

Now a new propaganda tactic comes to center stage: Trump's circus spectacles while GOP skulks behind Trump's commotion knocking down ANYTHING that would give relief or comfort to the people.

What do we have? Reporters not covering the heavy stuff in favor of the creepy, juicy innuendos and feelz.

Infotainment golden jackpot. Reporters OVERWHELMED trying to keep track of the growing list of Trump's eye-popping, lies, attacks, vain pronouncements and gaffes BUT COMPLETELY OVERLOOKING SUBSTANTIAL POLICY CHANGES going on, the kind of changes that normally get people demonstrating in the streets. I mean not just EPA break ups but eliminating pollution standards, planned parenthood, NPR funding, marijuana, kill off alternative energy incentives, crush net neutrality, roll back regulations on Wall Street, mainstream private prisons, Fiduciary rule, more oil pipelines.

This is media assaulting you wth gossip as to cover for the daily annihilation of a more civil society. --DISTRACT AND CONQUER

I don't think the "divide" tactic can be played any harder than it is already.

You're right. First they got the angriest people, due to life circumstances or other reasons, and using populist rhetoric, to get behind this guy, and to want to defend him till the bitter end.

Then they play distract and conquer. You're 100% right. The most amazing thing is that a lot of people under other circumstances would be screaming bloody murder over what's happening, are actually saying "just give him a chance, he's gonna MAGA."

The Housing Trap
