He argued that the American Health Care Act, which passed the House this past week, amounted to “a huge tax cut for guys like me.” He also said rising health care costs, rather than high taxes, were the biggest drag on American businesses.

“Medical costs are the tapeworm of American economic competitiveness,” he said.

George Soros and the other leaders of the regressive left probably made him say it.

Hillary shill slams Trump is what this thread title should be.

No the bill is pretty awful. Even my family doctor is strongly against it, and he was also against Obamacare.

single payer for basic medical coverage. Every citizen gets it. Illegals get it but it is administered by ICE physicians.
Private upgrades to cover whatever the hell you want covered, mostly catastrophic shit, or premium instant service.
Poor won't need the upgrades as they have nothing to protect.
Everybody else purchases the upgrades needed to cover their ass.

Do you thing the 47% of Obama voters should get a tax cut, you know, the ones that don't pay any taxes now??

THey pay payroll taxes, which unfortunately do not get put aside for soc security, they get spent as part of the general revenue of taxes. So in a way they really do pay taxes.

What would you have them do if they can't get a job that pays them enough to be paying taxes in addition to their payroll taxes ?

6   HEY YOU   2017 May 7, 9:16am

Those that are not as rich as Buffet, are FAILURES.
I'm sure they have an excuse for their lack of success.

I'm tired of paying the level of taxes that I do now so you can have your FREE Medicaid and EBT card..

The rest of the country is tired of paying taxes to maintain the infrastructure which you didn't build.
Your taxes have such little effect in the total cost,it's like you are getting the benefits for FREE.

You seem confused.....

I'm tired of paying the level of taxes that I do now so you can have your FREE Medicaid and EBT card..

But that's just me..

What's stopping you from giving all your money away? You're welcome to get your FREE Medicaid and EBT card too. If it's so great, have at it!

Which part of those payroll taxes you claim they pay go towards Medicaid and EBT?

Arguing with you is like arguing with a wall. I might be willing to answer you're inane questions more frequestly, if I thought you were capable of learning or if I thought you weren't mostly just trolling.

However, the fact that Social Security is financed through its trust funds doesn't mean it operates independently of the rest of the government's budget. Non-payroll tax funds have already played a significant role in the program's financing. Moreover, As Paul Van de Water at CBPP has explained, "when Social Security needs to start cashing in its holdings of Treasury securities to meet its benefit obligations, the federal government [the general fund] will have to increase its borrowing from the public, or raise taxes or spend less" to finance these costs.

Let me simplify this for you. Payroll taxes are simply spent as part of our general federal tax revenues. The revenue's from payroll taxes are even considered part of the government s revenues when the moronic right wing politicians you worship argue we can afford to tax high increments of income at lower rates.

And get this ! Then they turn around and say social security is a ponzi scheme that can not be sustained. You can't make this shit up.

Al Gore almost was elected in 2000. He wanted to change the way payroll tax revenue was accounted for (his lock box). Oh well. At least the wealthy got the 12 years of the Bush tax cuts. Ca-Ching $!!!

Because I want to live in a better place then you do in Shitcago.

lol--I assume you are moving out of the armpit of the US then? Chicago beats NJ every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I wonder if there is anyone reading this that's stupid enough to buy any of your nonsense.

What does this:

Ironman says

Social Security is a SEPARATE tax you pay designated for your retirement. You get a statement every year telling you what your S.S. benefit will be when you retire. When was the last time you received a S.S. refund for taxes S.S. paid on your tax return?

have to do with this ?

Don't strain yourself.

if you get all the Federal payroll taxes you paid refunded when you filed your tax return

Really ?

12   marcus   2017 May 7, 11:48am

I should have realized that you don't know what payroll taxes are. Hint: Medicare and FICA. So you haven't understood anything I said ?

Yes, niggers are dying weekly here from gunshots in Ocean County just like they are in your backyard of Shitcago...

Oh wait, they're not...

You're a lot closer to Camden or Newark than I am to the south side of Chicago.
